Hola Mario, A topic that I don’t see covered more in detail in your videos is the pros and cons of Andelsbolig and perhaps real life examples where buying a share can make sense. Thank you for the content 👍
Thank you for the content, Mario! And cheers to Maersk colleague ;) have you ever covered “ways out of Denmark” in relation to your investments? How can you move with least losses? Any platform with advantage specifically for this?
So if I buy stocks or index fund shares I have to pay that unrealised gain tax, but if I then sell my shares, do I also have to pay taxes on the profit at the moment of withdrawal?
Hola Mario, Vi tus videos y son de gran ayuda. Pregunta: tengo 2 niños pequeños, ¿es interesante la opción de abrirles la cuenta esa de los bancos para niños? No vi ningún video de eso :( gracias x toda la info

Hey mario, quick question ! What if you send money to a bank account in another country and invest in stock market from that account? Is it possible? If not why and how ?
If I want to start investing, I got 50k kr to invest and possibility of 5k per month. What would you do? Which kind of index fund would you put that money?
Nice content Mario, and I have a question regarding the aktiesparekonto and the taxation.!! Say I have a got a gain of 100dkk for the first year and hence I pay 17dkk as tax for the first year whether I realised it or not. Let’s assume I get 100dkk again for the 2nd year, so my total gain over 2 years is 200dkk… Now in the 2nd year do I pay the 17% on the 200dkk or only for the 100dkk earned in the 2nd year?
question 1. I can put my own money - 135900 in my aktiekonto - does this mean that I can put MY OWN DEPOSIT of 135900 - Or the aktiepsarerkonto with deposit + interest cant have bigger limit than 135900? question 2. I put 100k, the aktiekonto grows to 200k - is it still the same aktiekonto - or its different now and its taxed 27%?
question 3. I put 100k. The aktiekonto gets to 120k in a year. I pay 17% from the 20k I gained? question 4. I got 100k + 20K (-17%%) = 116,6k in a year. Next year tthis 116.6k grows again 20k. - I pay again 17% of my gain that is 20k?
Nice video Mario. If I invest on etoro and gets stocks but I do not cash my stocks within my Danish account then do I need to inform the bank about my investment within etoro?
Hi Mario, been following you for three years now and just wanted to say thank you. Your content helped a lot. Would you recommend børneopsparing? Or would it be possible for you to cover it in one of your upcoming videos?
Thanks for the kind words! I haven't done the børneopsparing, as far as I recall it's too little money and would take more mental space - but need to research more
Hola Mario! Great video 😊 I am wondering whether any of these Danish brokers allow you to easily tranfer your funds to other online brokers (for example if you want to leave Denmark in the future) or if on the other hand you are locked with them and need to sell the stocks before leaving and then buy again in a new broker.
Hey I have a question about Denmark tax math. Let's say we have 3 years. Year 1 we have 100k shares each is 1 dkk it went up to 2 dkk at this year. Profit is 100k dkk, so we pay 17k dkk as taxes. Year 2 100k shares price went down from 2dkk to 1dkk. Profit is zero, taxes are 0, right? Year 3, 100k shares went up again from 1dkk to 2dkk. Profit is 100k dkk, so we pay 17k dkk again, right? Sounds like investing is risky af in Denmark. Because market can go crazy sometimes. Real profit is 100k dkk, but we've paid the 17% tax on it twice.
Hey Mario! Can you please advise maybe on whether I can invest through Trading212 while residing in Denmark and if so what tax implications it has? Thank you!
Hey! You can use any broker you want, so long as you declare your investments to Skat. If that trader doesn’t have direct connection to Skat then you’ll need to do the declaration yourself which could be complicated
Is it even worth it to invest when the taxes are SO high? Like do you end up making a profit? Is it not just better to spend the money and have fun with it since you will be able to do more with it?
Hello Mario, by any chance do you have a channel but it speaks in Spanish? I am in Denmark and I want to invest, but I am still not sure if it is appropriate or not, due to the tax issue.
Hi Mario! I live in USA and I am heavily invested in ETFs, MSFT and crypto. We will soon move to DK. If I want to keep investing in S&P500, are VUAA or VUSA good options? Thank you so much for your time and help on this!
I love your video. I would like to relocate to Denmark. I think that taxes on dividends are very high , and taxes on capital gains. too . I believe Denmark is not a country for investors and traders.
@@MarioScianHQ Mario firstly thank you so much for all the information you provide to all of us . Something is a bit unclear for me and I would please need your help. If you invest in S&P 500 (I.e VUAA) and you don’t want to sell for the following 10-15 years, do you pay tax no matter what account you use ? (ASK or regular account) You have the following info “, you normally pay 27% in capital gains for the first 61.000 kr (2024) that you realize. Everything on top of that pays 42%. For stocks and most ETFs, you pay these taxes only when you sell.” So if you do not realise the gains?
I love your content. Investing in a country that is usually not top-of-mind & quite niche I must say. Love the pointers,i.e. investing automatically!

I touch on Andels in my other materials, but in short I'm not pro Andels unless you find an insanely good deal
Hi,
Do you know where to find a list of the ETFs which are taxed on the realisation principle, thanks.
Only the Spar Indeks as far as I recall
Thank you for the content, Mario! And cheers to Maersk colleague ;) have you ever covered “ways out of Denmark” in relation to your investments? How can you move with least losses? Any platform with advantage specifically for this?
You need to pay the exit tax one way or the other, so maybe sell the investments at the right time before you leave?
If you pay topskat, sometimes paying into a pension can be a good option as you can subtract it from your taxes.
Yep, some people do that - I don't though
How to do it?
So if I buy stocks or index fund shares I have to pay that unrealised gain tax, but if I then sell my shares, do I also have to pay taxes on the profit at the moment of withdrawal?
You forgot aldersopsparing another good long term option for most people in Denmark.
Hi Mario,
You are a presenter, keep it up. Do you have to pay the exit tax if you have been a tax resident for less than 7 year
Thanks! Yes, the exit tax applies to everyone

You only pay the 17% tax on the gains you made this year. So if you made a gain of 100dkk in the second year, you pay 17dkk in tax the second year.
Correct

Crypto gets taxed on top of your personal income, it's a tricky one

You can do that but it's not super straight forward and the process is different from broker to broker
Hei, do you think is same with taxes in Norway also?
Do Nordnet send a report to skatteetatten?
I don’t know about Norway

If market went down and then up you don't pay taxes, you only pay when the prices are higher than the price you bought for
