If you are looking for a house and you have young kids, check the daycare prices before deciding where to look. They vary considerably from one municipality to the next.
You can get to pay foreign prices on some services even with a Danish bank card as long as you've registered from abroad (or with a VPN and a foreign Gmail). Sometimes you will need a foreign bank card or at least a foreign phone number, though.
How would expat get free education? I remember finding one for my wife in Aarhus last year and they said we have to pay full fees!? Anything I am missing?
If you are single it doesn't make sense to buy a place many times. You will end up buying more space than you need. And you have to expense a lot on furniture and appliances. Also if you don't have the down-payment which is huge. Also if you're not 100% that you will live in DK long term. Just my 2c
@@MarioScianHQ Where would I get the down-payment and money for furnishing though? I understand the mortgage is up to 80% and (up to) 15% loan but the rest is still a very big sum. I have worked for 2y in IT for a decent salary and depending on how many millions is the apartment I might spend all on that or have to borrow more.
I know the cost of living will matter but will pay rate will be much lesser than in the US? for example I work in a big corporate in California and my husband works as an RN. Are we gonna be able to keep the same living/lifestyle?
hace 1 mes estoy viviendo en Aarhus y encontre tu canal hace poquito (que bien que hablas el ingles, si no decias que eras argentino ni cuenta me daba jaja ) Buenisimo canal! gracias por tanta data!
Thanks so much for your video, very helpful :) I've got a question regarding your first point - in your opinion, is buying an apartment still better option than renting even if you are single / living by yourself (in copenhagen)?

Personally I find the second camera view a bit strange
Trying things out
Second camera is fine, if you look at it after a short delay. But definitely a no no if you don’t look it at all
Fine how it is
Hey mario ! Nice picture edition ! it is a lot better than the old design, well done !

Que grande! Estamos viviendo en Aarhus hace casi 2 años y recién descubro tu canal. Felicitaciones, buenísimo el contenido!

If you're EU citizen you get free education

Yep, that can be - but you can also buy a place and rent a room out. In many cases it will pay out a lot of the costs. Multiple friends did that.

Taxes so high in Denmark why less people own homes
Hi Mario,
Thanks for amazing insights.
I heard education is free only for EU citizens. Since you are from Argentina how is it possible?
My family is Italian and I have Italian citizenship as well
Great stuff! It would be cool to find something similar in Switzerland
New in denmark from Spain. Tak For this

Likely not as the “fancy” lifestyle in Denmark is very heavily taxed - eg almost 200% tax on the selling price of cars

I like the new style of editing you have in this video, however, some of the side shots at your desk look a little off. Stay awesome ✌
Thanks! I need to find the right place for the second camera, working on it!
Nice but how long do you live before in Denmark before you buy a house?
You can buy immediately after you move in if that’s your goal, then of course there is some nuance

If you're looking medium/long term yes

You can also invest in stocks in your home country. Just report to SKAT otherwise you can get into trouble.
