I saw this show when they came to Dallas. I still rank it in my top 10 concerts I’ve ever witnessed. Pure meat and potatoes rock the whole evening. Lots of great material from Back to the Light with a big dose of Queen songs mixed in. When Brian played Love of my Life there were a lot of tears in the audience. This only a couple years after Freddie passed. Brian is a treasure and so was this band. RIP Cozy.
Awesome reaction for sir Brian May, from Queen 👑 he is one of my favorite guitarists of all time! In fact, the drummer of this band was Cozy Powell (RIP, also a monster on that instrument), and he played this song on a band called Rainbow ✌🏼😌 Cheers, guys..and stay heavy 🤘🏼
I can't believe the fact nobody has ever recommended you "In der palästra" by Sopor Aeternus and the Ensemble of Shadows. Anna Varney is something out of this world. LITERALLY.
I really like this version of Rainbow's classic, but I need to give Graham Bonnet a slight edge with Rainbow. Both versions are great. Cozy on drums played for both bands. Good to see Brain show of his voice since Freddy was the main man when with Queen.
It's ironic that the decision to record material like this was one of the factors prompting Cozy Powell's departure from Rainbow. He does a great job here as always. His death meant the end of this band, which I think was a great pity. This whole show is worth watching, and unavailable on DVD as far as I know. I've never seen backing vocalists work harder. One of them, Shelley Preston used to be in Bucks Fizz.
My friend... for to be' honest Brian was so depressed in those years. And the Brand Queen was calling🎉 Anyway the brian may would also end up with cozy live!
The Brian May!!! Queen Guitarist!!!!👍🤘🏻

Watch Queen and Paul Roger's version of the song "Bad Company". It's great.
