    Very helpful video - thanks. I'm travelling to Brussels soon and will be there for 3 days, I don't have a MOBIB card, am I still able to buy this BRUPASS ticket when I arrive at a metro station? Is there any option you would suggest for a 3 day trip?

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  Рік тому +1

      Hey John, you can immediately get a MOBIB card for 5 euros at the STIB Metro station counter in Brussels. Then you can load a 10 trip on it. If you travel with a partner/friend/family , they can also travel in this single card. If you will stay in Brussels for 3 days and think that you will travel a lot and cover lots of places, it’s worth the purchase. Go for it.
      If you think you will walk around and only sometimes travel(say a particular day)then I propose you ditch Mobib card and buy a paper smart ticket having “BRUPASS 1 Day” this offers unlimited travel only for 1 calender day per person. It costs about 7.50 euro when buying from a vending machine like I showed in video or 8 euros if you buy from counter.

    Just a doubt, when you buy 60 min ticket, you travelled using the same ticket . is the validity 60 mins from first check-in or the total time travelled should be 60 min? For example- I can use the ticket only for 1 hour from first check-in at 3:30pm or Train ride 30 min & bus ride 20 min (total 50 min ride time) throughout the day?

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  2 роки тому +2

      Thanks Nishant! The validity is counted from first check-in time in 60 mins. There are numerous products of STIB /MIVB to suit your needs! Do check them out. Again, thanks for watching the video, please stay tuned 🥳

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  Рік тому

      Between cities in Belgium - you will have to take the SNCB train. Download their mobile application and buy paperless tickets - you can select standard multi...
      Within brussels you need seperate bus/tram/metro ticket as you saw in this video. I think you will just be in bxl for 1 day so Brupass 1 day will be sufficient. Many people also explore Bxl just walking... so totally depends on you and your iternary.

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  Рік тому +2

      thanks for watching the video ! now your doubt: it means, you can travel at 10 different times. if you take 10 different metro/bus/tram rides but all within 1 hour >> they all will be counted as 1 trip and you will pay for 1 trip only.

    hello, i will be staying in brussels for 5 days and i was wondering which tickets will u recommend? I will be planning to take the transport as much as possible throughout my stay. Can u also explain regarding the 60 mins ticket thing which u bought? So is it unlimited travels for the next 60 mins?

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  Рік тому

      If you will travel throughout the day(i.e more than 3 journeys per day) in Brussels public transport then go for a paper ticket: Brupass 1 Day(8 euro per day), with this you can travel unlimited the whole day, so you will buy 1 each day or on the days you will travel. if you have 4 journeys to 10 journeys in those 5 days then go for Brupass 10 trips (15.60 euro)on a mobib card(5 euro). So it depends on how much you will travel. About 60 minutes: yes, Brupass trips are valid for unlimited changes in Brussels zone with 60 mins. If you want to know more, check link in description :) Enjoy your stay in Brussels !

    hello ,this is really nice video...i wonder if these tickets can be used for travelling for 1 city to another?for example: brussels to ghent,ghent to bruges? if not then what is the most cost effective transport medium for those??

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  2 роки тому +2

      such a nice question Swarna! No, these tickets cannot be used 'inter-city' because they are valid only within the boundary of Brussels city. If you want to travel in between cities: choose SNCB train tickets(they have many offers like weekend ticket, Duo tickets that offer 1+1 free, etc.). If you are traveling within cities like: Ghent, Antwerp,Liege, Charleroi then you can opt for City Passes which offer you unlimited flexibility to travel with these cities. SNCB also sells these tickets (or you can buy from operators like DeLijn & TEC)

      @@swarnanadia6704 offcourse you can buy tickets at the stations, or using their website online, they will also have a mobile app. For offers you can try your luck by exploring coupons of SNCF via google...all the websites would be in French so translate and see if you fall in any category to benefit any coupon. • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  Рік тому

      Intercity transport you will have to do via SNCB NMBS trains. If its just one time shuttling between cities - best option is to buy standard multi tickets if you are above 26 years of age (or youth multi if less than 26) - if you are not able to finish all trips you can sell it on fb groups to anyone who needs. These multi passes are only for trains. With mobib card you can travel on any public transport of belgium- bus, tram, train, metro provided you have purchased suitable tickets on top of mobib card.

    Hello do you know ,how can I go to the center of brussels from airport zaventen?

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  2 роки тому

      hi, the best way will be to take the STIB/MIVB airport bus from airport(Line 12) upto the last stop: Schuman. From Schuman you have 2 metro lines: 1 & 5 that take you to the Central in 3-4 mins(or its just a 10-15 mins pleasant walk from there, if you don't have much luggage you can appreciate the EU institutions and that diplomatic vibe while you walk!). have a great time! But if you love trains & want the easiest & the most comfortable way to travel to Brussels centrale (and SNCB trains are really a comfortable ride), you can take a train directly from airport upto Brussels Centrale. You can buy the train tickets via SNCB NMBS application or ticket machines at airport.

    • @DroidTSK
      @DroidTSK 2 роки тому +1

      If you're at Sainte-Catherine, De Brouckére or Gare Centrale you'll want to take the 1 or 5 metro line (direction Stockel/Hermann-Debroux) and get out at Schuman.
      Then you can take the 12 bus and get to the airport.
      If you're at Rogier or Yser you can take the 2 or 6 metro line (direction Simonis/Roi Baudoin) and get out at Trône.
      Then you'll want to take the 12 bus and get to the airport.
      At Rogier you can also take the 25 tram and get out at Meiser, another stop served by the 12 bus.
