Awesome video! Is there a way to modify it so it’s in a constant “on” state? So when power is connected, the GoPro turns on and remains on until power is disconnected?
I have a gopro hero 5 Black that overheats after 2 or 3 minutes of recording. All remedies have been tried and none work. Is the overtemp component found on the motherboard or is it possibly built into each individual battery? I had bought third party batteries quite a while ago and this problem popped up immediately after using them. Was this gopro's way of discouraging third party battery use?
Thank you very much! You explained it beautifully! Could you by any chance explain where to solder the status diode, if we disconnect the ribbon cable? cheers!
Thanks for the video. In my case one press the record button does start recording, but a second press doesn't stop it, it does nothing. Only long-pressing power button stops the recording before shutting down. I wonder if I broke something, it happens the same using the ribbon cable, any idea? could be related to one-button recording in my settings? (although pressing Rec alone before Power does not work either). Thanks!

Yes working on that video as well
@@FPVWhoop great, you really make these easy to follow along!
Thanks :)
Could you by any chance explain where to solder the AV out wire for fpv?
You don’t need AV out for fpv, this is to make gopro light and it can record independently.
thanks for this!
Thanks :)
can you do the one for LED please?
Yes coming soon
@@FPVWhoop i cant wait! thank you.
Are the location of Soldering points the same I have go pro 3/4 an the cube which go pro is this for or will work on
This is based on hero 6, hero 5 is also similar

Please check settings and make sure your gopro is at 1.6version and default to video recording on press in quick button
@@FPVWhoop It is 1.6 and tried both quick Button or not. I'll keep on trying, thanks!
Sure :)
Hi brother. Great informative video as usual. Do u happen to sell a ready made naked gopro by any chance?
it's really not very hard to do yourself! just take it slowly
Yea the thing is its hard to find a gp6 and the other parts in my country. Everyone here is selling the 7. So i wldnt mind just buying one ready-made.
U can do the same process on hero 7, the only thing is u have to use some dampering on mount
Yea i hv a 7 and it doesnt work so well with rsgo.
Hero 7 works very well is RSGO, u need to follow recommend settings
go pro takes 5V
