Damn, your video makes me want to visit an Ajmal store tomorrow. :) I have watched almost all of your videos on attars and general ones, and love the way you're passionate about perfumes, about old culture and anachronistic ways and means in our history. Reminds me of myself, except that I took my profession as a corporate lawyer way too seriously for 15 years to enjoy much of the finer aspects of life; and now am getting back to roots of what I enjoy. Case in point; attars.
Despite almost being taken away by a buying frenzy, I watched your video on addiction as well, so thanks for that help. :)

Nikhil bhai, i'm a huge fan of your vlogs. I happened to try an attar called "khususi amatil" by ajmal. It has the finest gourmondish fragrance i've ever sniffed. It's not that expensive like these attars but an attar that everyone must try. I also tried attar mizyaan by ajmal and i was awestruck by it's smell. Please Keep uploading n god bless

I have recently purchased Ruhul ward form delhi nizamuddin store itself and it now cost ₹25000/- for 10ml. and as you correctly mentioned it is most premium one could offer. I have tried 3 out of 4 shown in this video. Motia is the one that i have not tried yet.
In Dec 20, Mkt Raashid costs 5.5k to 6k for 12ml depending on location or vendor. But it comes in an ordinary bottle worth 15 Rs without any formal packaging. So just try to understand how precious the oil is. All the money goes for the dark gold.
Now we know what Attar to get from Ajmal. Keep it up Nikhil.

Yes, 'ward' does mean rose or rose-y. But it is not originally an Arabic word - it comes from a much much earlier time and a completely different language. It relates to the color of the skin of the people who survived the GREAT FLOOD, and who had to live with a reddish muddy clay everywhere around them and even on their skin. They possessed skin like the petals of roses, which are flowers from one of the bushes taken out of the Garden of Eden when early intelligent Man 'rose from the mud of the Earth.' Among the few things those survivors brought with them was a handful of words and their own names and not much else. The pronunciation of various ancient words in seemingly different languages is not well-understood today - thus, in the Greek - 'Erysychtheones' - is said 'Er-rus' - 'y' being a 'u' sound in Greek (and the Greeks themselves consider it not a Greek name but a name from Atlantis); and in the Hungarian, 'Ersic' is 'Urrus'ch;' and in the Graeco-Egyptian 'Eratosthenes' (the great map-maker who slept inside the Pyramids to 'see the world') is 'Oeroth(s - diphthong sound) - and they're all the same family name. It is where the Germanic name 'Rothschild' (!) also, originates - but, the modern era people with that name only 'borrowed' the name, they are not literally from that family at all. 'Ward' (the hindi or Arabic word) comes from a Greek 'Omega' letter and sound: 'Awwhr.' It is the sound that is the beginning of all Creation.
And yes, I CAN make large stones rise into the air simply with the power of my MIND... lol (Isn't the internet fun? You never would know such people exist outside of movies and fairy-tales, would you...)

First of all, thank you for being such a life changer! Life to me is about satisfying all 5 senses and you have been such an eye opener when it comes to nose. It took me months to unlearn my olfactory taste buds and what to expect from a perfume, and I am still learning yet trying to be as skeptical as possible. Its been quite a few years since you reviewed these. Considering all these years of Evolution and Refinement in Taste, I would like to get your opinion and clear my confusion. I want a Public Friendly Oud fragrance and something which is cheaper than Dahn Al Oud, for almost regular usage in winters (irrespective of Oil or Spray) so as to not offend others (By others I mean kids who call whiskies and any alcoholic drink bitter :D : similarity in terms of acquired taste :P ). Mukhallat Al Shams or Mukhallat Rashid (both by Ajmal)? Longetivity & Projection is not my thing.. Depth of the fragrance and Personal experience is.

Hello Nikhil, really appreciate your demos.I have a question for you dear.I have recently order Ajmal Mizyaan perfume Oil which is 14 ml in quantity.I just wanted to know how could we able to decide the longevity of a attar or Oudh .Its a bit difficult if one wanted to shop online and doesn't sure about the longevity of the fragrance.

Greetings Nikhil Bro.I have ordered from Amazon.It was packed in a green color paper box.It was also a sealed product.I now realized that I must have gone to Connaught Palace and would have brought from there only.Also Niki bro,after having great videos by you my passion and obsession has gone up towards the fragrance that's why I am bothering you regarding every single thing association with Oudh or concentrated oils.......At the end Long lives the fragrance.

Misk A is absolute gem. It smells like indian traditional Kasturi attar of very very high quality. It takes a strong man to wear it. Girls love it on men ❤️❤️.

@nikhil : after watching this, i hv bot mukhallat rashid today.. 3ml 1000 rupees. they gave me 100 rupees discount plus sample of oud mukhallat. Rashid on first few hours is animalic/leathery. then sandalwood in my opinion. not bad... very musculine . Ruhul ward 3ml ~ 6350 rupees. cant afford. Thanks for your suggestion.

The animalic/ barnyard smell....dry down is not sandalwood. I was wrong. Its something else. Im loving this stuff. My view about perfumes was just like any other typical indian nose. But now i can understand, wat you been trying to convey to us. Mukhallath rashid is just my first footstep....help me explore more. Nxt will be makkah blend oil...

Nikhil bhai I recently bought ajmal's Misk rijali, the strange thing is I could barely smell it in the bottle,and then I applied on wrist too but it smells nothing.. What you say? Does it smells slightly mild or else?

Being grown in Mumbai applying these attars on daily basis there are cheap and good but i would like to informt that there are few perfurmes which cost around 1.5 Lac to 2 Lacs for 25ml. Dont believe me? Go to mohammed ali road to these luxurious shops if they entertain you its your luck.

hi Nikhil,i have brought the mizyaan.The experience is not that great it's good but not long lasting.I there is a way to put on body or clothes.I found that after using the entire glass needle drenched with perfume oil,I have to put a lot to feel the Fragrance.over all this product is average.I want a fragrance that is heavy and long lasting.

I just bought mukhallat by gulab singh johrimal delhi, have you smelled it and can u recommend some other attars from GSJ.
Gulab Singh Johrimal's attars are very refined and of high grade. They are not very costly. Try their 'Fitrat' attar

Hey Nikhil I bought Oud Mukhallat by Ajmal it’s very nice and the smell is just wow !! But it lasts very less not more than 3 hrs max 4 hrs please tell me do summers effect this attar and what is the correct way to wear this attar. It's about perfumery, but I do not possess a knowledge as yours, although I have tried and used most of the attars u made videos on, so I can suggest few of them when and where to wear it, as for the offending is concerned u know better the situation of India, u do have many subscribers outside India n I do not want to mak us look bad, I get negative and hate responses just for even commenting.
