I have been using this attar for quite a while now. I must say that it is long lasting even in humid summer conditions of India.
Though, the sillage is bit low it is more of a personal experience.
One thing to point out here is that, after having worn this in cooler temperature, it seems to actually show its oudy character in warm conditions, surprisingly.
I discovered how fragrance behaves differently under the summer sun or in the greenery of a walk or hike.

***** Can't wait. Some of these oils are indeed really good and could easily stand up to some of the niche offerings. There are so many oils options out there and finding the ones that just works wonders for one self is quite the journey. But once you find a hidden gem, it's just bliss!

I have tried it at Ajmal store and I liked it very much. I did not buy it because I had limited money to spend, so I decided to go with Ajmal Abia instead which I liked more than Mukhallat.
Not excited to read comments by a few in fragantica. I bought Hawas and absolutely love it. It draws me into it. Wanted to buy Mukhallat, but for strong views in fragntica

You have become a guru of midEast frags. We need a new name for you! I wonder if there is a mantra that goes with any certain type of fragrance of oud .... something like that? For example, would a chant to Mahalaxshmi for abundance be better while anointed with a certain attar? That may be a very redundant question best sent addressed at your FB group. Anyone else?

I have tried most of their attars/oud stuff and they are remarkable.
Dehn Al Oud Mubarak - It is so so rich oudh extract, combodian.
It takes you to another level.
Please please review this one.

Wonderful detailed review Nikhil. I have a request, can u pls make a video showing top 10 attar or oils according to you, which are 10/10 in all aspect.
That would be awesome especially designer type attars. Instead of blowing big bucks on perfumes and getting disappointed with outcome, I would buy attar which is 70-80% of the real stuff and save for it later. Nikhil, I really trust your nose and eagerly waiting for it.

Dont blind buy this attar basis the review, The smell is just like a sweet pan and it doesn’t last more than 2hrs. Try it urself before buying.
I heard that it is not good to touch any fragrance and to rub the hand because it "brakes" the smell. What can you tell about it? Thank you.

Which is best mukhallat by ajmal or 1001 Arabian nights oil?
Hi, been watching your vids for a few days now. Very informative and interesting. Slightly confused. Relates to your long vid about what is oud etc. When you talk about this Ajmal mukhallat, which I know is mixed oud, is it pure refined oud oil in there or is it the powdery bakhoor burning type of oud? Also can you be more specific on what 'synthetic' oud actually is and give an example of one or two?
Sorry in advance if you've explained enough it's just it's like 7am here and for me that usually means I'm snoozing!

For your bottle I would say at the very least $120. That's if there is 1ml of oud out of this 3ml. Would you say there is less than 1ml oud in there?

+Nikhil S I agree Indian oud is definitely skank and also agree it's the best in the 'long run' ha!
I also think before the western market gets further introduced to oud they should start with Indonesian oud or one in that region.
If I said $120 for this 3ml bottle you have of pure oud is it that a realistic price depending on quality, age etc (I know its mukhallat just e.g)

I bought this attar recently after watching your review.
Honestly, it has been overrated.
The quality of oud extract is not that good, kind of smell you get when we dilute or tone down a hard artificial attar. It is nothing of oud sort, it lacks presence and richness of a real oud.
I would better buy Swiss Arabian Dehn Al Oud Mukhallat then this one. For it has better richness to it, it has a strong character and most importantly it stays for longer time.
Nikhil i suggest you re evaluate this review.

Can somebody please put up the proper name of this, one that I can punch in on eBay and find it. I want to buy it, but I can't seem to find the exact one, I only see similar things on eBay, I want this amazing prism crystal 6ml oil with the dip stick! The soft aoud sounds very enticing, plus I might even buy two bottles, one for the presentation speal, and the other one i'll make a 50ml spray out of it, compliments to Babs.
How to Oud Oils smell compared to Oud Attars? Are these expensive oud oils actually amazing out of world smelling? need a honest answer.

No brother. It is very difficult to get because Oudh extracting giants like Ajmal, Anfar...etc take oudh outside Assam
