- Ruh Gulab or Attar Gulab are perfumes derived from the fragrant flowers of Rose.
But there’s a huge difference in how they’re made. Ruh Gulaab is the purest form of Rose oil which is steam distilled through a centuries old method.
Since the yield of pure rose oil is low that’s why it’s one of the most expensive oils in the perfume market.
On the other hand we have different versions of Rub Gulab which depends on the seasonal Rose crop. The Chaiti Gulab or the roses grown during the months of March-April are considered the finest. Some oil is produced in October as well which is the second best.
Attar Gulab oils are a mix of different oils and even though they smell like roses they are not essentially the purest form. Also any blend with Rose as a dominant note can be called Attar Gulab or Gulab Itr.

Since there is a boom in cheap clone fragrances and now few clones are even close to designer prices, it's great that we are paying for performance but what no one talks about is how safe these perfumes are to use on daily basis, if these brands are associated with ifra or cosmetic regulations? Everyone is talking about how these perfumes clone and perform but no one talks about their safety or if designers or cheap fragrances are safe to use on skin? I'd love if you make a video after some research assuming you might have some information on this already, it'd be great if you can enlighten or share some knowledge on safety or if any, harmful effects of using perfumes. Sorry but i am going to write a long very off topic here so please bare with me if someone is reading because I just vent out my disappointment about my visit to a perfume store which is located in DLF noida mall a very high end store OUD ARABIA I hope everyone must have heard about this brand as an perfume enthusiastic I am so fond of oud fragrance and always fascinated by other fragrance as well wanted to try different kind of oud and I am still in the beginning to explore and learning day to day from Nikhil bhai video anyways coming back to store visit I was very excited to try there signature perfume and I was ready to experience yesterday and make up my mind that I will buy atleast one fragrance from oud Arabia store but when I entered in the store the sales guy representative greeted me and asked me what I am looking for and asked me to try there best selling perfumes as I am still figuring out that what they are showing me are there best selling but it doesn't appeal me then the sales guy shown me 2 more EDP and claimed they last very long and they are the best but somehow I was not convinced or would say It's not that fragrances which actually I feel like wow so before I say anything or asked some questions the sales guy gave me kind of attitude that I am wasting there my time and before wasting any minute he says sir if you dont understand these best selling fragrance then you will not like anything we have in our store for you. There body language and gesture are enough for me that they are actually selling a product to a customer not experience. His expression says it all like you are not here to buy and they are not going to put efforts to atleast show me more of there fragrances. It feels so bad that even I've to put my time and money for there brand they are not willing to sell just because I've not pick up or liked there best seller perfume. I walked out of store and thought if it's the way a perfume brand now I feel which is overhyped is dealing with the customers then what's the use of there stores or online marketing why should I buy a perfume with fancy bottle with a price tag of almost 5k when they are treating there customer like they have the best fragrances. I just want to share my experience here as I know so many perfume enthusiasts watch Nikhil bhai informative videos and know something about fancy brands although I am no one to judge or criticise any brand or person may be I've encountered a wrong person but I really feel a fragrance or perfume is not just a bottle we buy from our hard earned money rather it's a emotion a fragrance is a emotion which I personally search and experience whenever I am selecting. But if a brand tell you that there perfumes are best and so many people are buying it but if I don't find anything special then it's there failure as an brand. Hope this long write up help my fellow readers. Please feel free to write your opinions as well. Thank you

Not a fan of gulab but yes, it Ruh Gulab is a beautiful oil. Have tried it at GSJM.
