Don't worry about the fumes. Us farm boys are used to having propane stoves in our homes. There is no difference between the propane in a home stove and what is in the little bottle. As long as you are not trying to heat your house, running it 24/7.... you are just fine. Think of how long a normal stove can be on to cook a thanksgiving dinner. Your little stove will not be a problem.
For anyone here years later wondering about confined space safety and propane burning, blue flame is a complete burn and produces carbon dioxide and water vapor. Yellow flame is incomplete burn due to lack of oxygen and produces carbon monoxide. In short, keep the flame blue or with rare flickers of yellow and you'll be fine with light ventilation.
I got the second stove you used. Used it for a year for all my cooking. The spark thing stopped working after a while, but still a great stove. And those canisters last for a good while.
i dont know if you got strong winter where you live, but butane freeze and has no more pressure at 0degrees like water. propane on the other hand is good to -45C.
The Coleman stove is great for hunting, used it for many years in a ground blind or pop up tent to stay warm. Its great for boiling water in a small saucepan for hot chocolate or cooking soup while hunting. I prefer it over the My Buddy heaters.
I wonder what's better. I have a gasone but yesterday it was cold and windy and I had to cook inside my car. I'm thinking of buying the Coleman single stove and it might do little better.
I have used propane and white gas stoves and lanterns indoors with no issues weeks or months on end. Its really no different than using your regular gas stove. If the flame appears lazy and orange open a window and ventilate the room more. I have had a flame issue on a kitchen gas range (flame turned orange) because the wife cleaned the kitchen with ammonia. Once the ammonia smell was gone the flame turned blue again. Its not always a lack of oxygen that causes an incomplete burn other fumes can cause the issue as well. When it comes to lighting think of the early to bed early to rise saying. Go to bed soon after sunset, get up as sun rises saves on gas, oil and batteries.
I just got the Coleman version of that Gasone stove after the recent hurricane knocked out power for a week. It is possible to heat up food on an esbit stove but I found myself wishing I had something bigger and with flame control. LOL
You sold me also just bought the Gasone Stove also,? For any Emergency use etc.? Never know when a Power Outage,? Is going to hit us.? Long over due,? Should of picked one up a few years ago.? Like they say " Better to have it & not need it.? Etc.?
Just a warning: I was camping with one of these and boiled water. Was about to grab the water off the stove and it just fell over with boiling water down my front side. This can be a dangerous stove. The grips seem like they will hold anything but all these type of stoves are high up and can be unstable with alot of water boiling. I was trying to boil two standard drinking water bottles just 16 ounces and it slid off for some reason the metal did not grip.
I thought butane stays a liquid at very low temps. If so I don't think its a good idea to keep it as a bug out item. If possible try the butane stove in cold temps.
Got a New Carbon Steel 14" Wok that needs to be seasoned first,? they say not to do it in the house or oven,? It will smoke like hell.? So I will do it outside with the Coleman Stove when it gets her,? If it's not Snowing also.?
With a propane stove, a blue flame is clean burning, emitting CO2 and water vapor. Yellow flames emit dangerous CO, and shouldn't be tolerated in your kitchen. In tearing up our kitchen, we ran the 1 lb Coleman propane bottles to cook on inside, and were very satisfied.
The butane stove might as well sleep with the canisters in winter to keep em warm. Wouldnt produce vapors and had to go to a propane stove instead. Butane works great in summer
it's so silly that all these Camping mini or otherwise stoves are only meant to go under one pan or pot where if an adjustable stand could be designed these large pots could work on any stove and perhaps two mini ones but no one has thought of this yet ...but me!!
what is the stated or implied nonsense about propane being not safe for indoor use? people convert their natural gas indoor stoves to propane all the time. get your facts straight before spreading untruths.

🤣brought me back to my roots

Just picked 1 up from Sportsman's Warehouse n it's awesome. I'm very excited to put it into use on my next hiking n hunting trips...
Is this a stable setup? I worry with a heavy pan and heavy steak it may be top heavy
I bought one of those propane stoves in 2004 and have literally used it occasionally for years. I used it in a van for two years almost daily

Keep it on the ground unless you are packing it up
Yeah that's what I was getting at! Don't trust the grips. Keep on the ground.....
I would use a all metal pot, wonder the difference in time to boil

No
Can you use this stove safely indoors like the kitchen gas stove?
can you connect this burner to 5lb gas cylinder?
is it save to store the propane in an apt.? I have the same stove and propane tank.
Yes it's safe
Would the propane stove be good to season a 14 " wok on.?
MyREDTAIL de not see why not!
Thanks Just ordered one,? From an E Bay Store,?

What if the flame is clear, how do you tell how high it is
Great demo
How many fires have raged out of control because of phone calls?
none
Lots

very cool item indeed great video
Wow! Makes my Sterno stove look like a booger!
I was going to go with a Butane, Stove.? But I think they, Do not reach the High heat,? That Propane does.?
MyREDTAIL butane burns slightly higher than propane.
By the way, those propane tanks last a long time unused. I would say years!
Propane can literally go decades and be usable. That's why I like propane standby generators. You don't have to worry about your fuel going bad.
This would be handy since I already heat my tent with these 1 lb. propane tanks. Now I won't have to stock two kinds of fuel.

COLEMAN BOTTLE TOP.. where to buy..!! Why no Dealer Selling in Singapore...!!
Amazon
That gas one kick ass
Where do you buy this ???
Hi! I found it at Dicks Sporting goods
Your math is incorrect.
7:04 to 7:10 is 6 minutes, not 9.
Sunny is a pedant, na na na na na na.....
No, he said less than 9 minutes which it was. But 6 is wrong also, he also said a minute agonizing, so it took 5 minutes to boil 😎
I have the butane stove and it’s weak. Propane is a lot stronger
Who says you can't use this inside man! where did you come up with that? Please don't not give wrong info if you're not sure
How long with a coleman tank last?
9 hrs on low flame
This does not light as easy for me...
That first one is unstable, better not jar it while in use.😉
