Hi Liz, I am so happy to hear you are enjoying some of the videos. Yes, the next day, due to a bit of swelling, we often look as if lines have suddenly gone away. Day 2 and 3 however, because of epidermal water loss, we can look a bit worse. But by day 4 or at least 5, depending on how deep one went, it should all be good, and eventually the skin will look healthier and healthier.

You did an amazing job guiding Tamara through the process. I learned a lot from this as well. I tried derma rolling a year or so ago and I think I approached the process in the wrong way. I tried a few times and quit. You girls are making me think I should give this another go. (I did watch Tamara’s video first, but as she said, it doesn’t matter.). Thank you 😊

Looks fantastic! Enjoyed the camaraderie between you two. I needed to ask you about the frequency of micro-needling. I am 30 and use a 0.5mm sometimes once a week, is that fine or too much?
I am happy you are here and glad you enjoyed this video. You know, some people say the using 0.5 mm once a week is ok. However, since at 0.5, we are rescuing the dermis, and it is therefore medical micro needling, I would say to only go at that depth 1x a month
You can go less deep, 0.2 mm weekly, but personally I would go 0.5 or deeper only once a month

Ido it for my lip with a hyaluronic acid its les dry and its bring the deep lins up but after hyaluronic acid i put a lip balm color free sent free i prefer the one from sibamid and you will love the results 😍

Hi Sue, I am glad you enjoyed this. I had so much fun doing this with Tamara! I just started needling my scalp as well. I use a 0.5 mm and do it about 2 x/week, after I wash my hair. I have the ordinary hair serum, and I needle that in. I think it is actually helping with my seasonal hair loss.
You can go a bit deeper if you want, like 1mm, but I would then do it less frequently, 1 time a week at the most, or even less frequent. Pleases keep us posted

Wart caution! I had a wart on my neck which I forgot all about in my excitement to get my first MN done, consequently it’s spread and I now have tiny skin coloured moles around my neck so I can’t MN there anymore. I got rid of the original mole with wart away

Bonjour ma belle, je suis contente que ça t'ai plu ! Je ne micro-aiguille qu'une fois par mois, depuis que je micro-aiguille médicale. Mais si vous allez à 0,2 mm ou 0,3 mm, vous pouvez le faire une fois par semaine.

Hi gorgeous Nana. Thank you and same to you. Remember, it depends how deep you roll. If you go 0.5 mm or deeper high molecular hyaluronic acid is really the safest. Less deep than that you can use all kinds of things. I like to use growth factors of peptides. Currently I am testing Calecim growth factors with needling and like it so far

Since I have lost about half my hair;can I use the .5 derma roller on my scalp? Would I use separate heads for the face & scalp? I also saw the Neogenis makes a scalp treatment? Would this help? Hair loss maybe due to stress & exposure to covid. I didn’t get covid but work around of covid infected people that were quarantined? Thanks💞
Hi Brenda, it’s very nice to hear from you. I’m sorry to hear about your hair loss. I have struggled with her last several times, so I understand how stressful it is. Yes, you can derma roll your scalp with a 0.5 mm. Adding the neogenesis serum might be really helpful. I have not tried the one for the scope, but have heard great things about it. I actually use the Ordinary hair serum, and really like it. It is quite an expensive as well. And yes, you definitely want to use a different roller for your scalp and your face. You can roll your scalp more frequently however, I actually used a 0.5 mm on my scalp about twice a week. I hope this helps, please let me know if you have more questions. Im interested in beginning with cosmetic dermarolling. Which serum should i apply for anti-aging. Is it ok to do cosmetic 1x per week for 3 wks, then medical rolling 1x per month?
Hi, you can really use any serum, such as vitamin c, a peptide serum or even retinol
And yes, you can cosmetic needle once a week and every fourth week medical needle

Hi Patricia, that is a tuff one. The only one I really feel comfortable recommending is the derminator, since it is the only one I have tried. It comes from the Czech Republic, so no problem sending it to Germany.

As I said, it is the only one I have tried, but I think it is fantastic. I have used it for about 3 years now. There website looks a bit shady, and the wording is strange, but do not let that turn you off, the machine itself it very good.

Is there a reason for the .05 vs .03? I keep seeing the face ones at .03?
Hi Ann Marie, thank you for being here. O.5mm is considered medical micro needling. At that needle length, we are reaching the dermis, where collagen and elastin is produced. Some people suggest that medical micro needling should only be done by professionals (which I disagree with). 0.3mm is considered cosmetic needling. At this length, the needles only reach the epidermis. It does not really produce collagen, but is more for product penetration. It is a "less risky" procedure, and therefor the rollers are a bit more easily available.
I hope this makes sense. You can combine medical micro needling with cosmetic needling. This might be helpful
