I practiced law for 28 years and before that was a news reporter covering the court system in Texas and never once in that time did I ever see any lawyer perform as incompetently as this woman. Not only should she be held in contempt and sanctioned by the court, she needs to be sanctioned by the state’s bar association. Her client also has a good case against her for malpractice. She’s an embarrassment to the profession.

So I’ve been deep dive researching into Mia Alexa, the attorney for Alexia Law Firm. I’m trying to figure out what happened to the contempt charges and law license, etc. I have been able to find that she is still licensed to practice in Texas and Arizona. However, I just saw that on yelp it is listed as closed for medical leave and I cannot find anything on the contempt charges. So what I’m thinking is they might’ve dropped the contempt charges if she agreed to go to rehab and she’s in rehab right now. That’s my thought.
