Why are people still questioning Purdy? He's the real deal. He does his job..
He is a very good quarterback. Remember, Kyle Shanahan went to the Super Bowl as the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons. The next year he left and the Atlanta Falcons had a .500% winning team. So how much of that is Brock and how much of that is head coach Kyle Shanahan.
Because people watch the games and see he underthrows ducks constantly and gets bailed out by kittle or deebo or cmc making amazing plays

Idk, the seconday played hella good tonite. Held DK to minimal catches and didn't score a td. They also got some interceptions which were huge. I think if anything that niners need to fix is our special teams

I strongly disagree with Woody on the Chiefs game being "just another game". The Chiefs have been a thorn in the Niners backsides of YEARS. They beat them in two Super Bowls in 4 years. Super Bowls that the 49ers should have won might I add. And the Niners have yet to beat Mahomes. We're 3-3 going into a game against a team we haven't beaten yet. This is a big game that the Niners need to win. Not to mention that if the 49ers make it back to the Super Bowl this season, take a wild guess who they most likely will match up again? Don't worry, I'll wait. And finally I don't care if the Chiefs are in the AFC. This is a rivalry game coming up. Just like this one against the Seahawks and the one the week after against the Cowboys.
I totally agree. Don't think for a second that the 49ers don't want to do to the Chiefs this year what they did to the Eagles last year.
No doubt. I would argue that this game will be the biggest for Shanahan. Last year in the Super Bowl, the Niners lost largely due to coaching decisions. He needs to show that he can outcoach Reid and Spagnolo

@mcchulogan91 Who can we replace with Nick Sorenson? This is his first year as the DC. Demico Ryans struggled also but he put the defense together to go on to the NFC championship in 2021 and 2022. Let's be patient unless we really struggle in next 5 games.

@@ykd818 Niners struggled defensively during 21 and 22 seasons and put together a winning streak on their way to the conference championship. That's what David Lombardi said on his 49ers coverage video.
Proof on Purdy - 10% of his throws at line of scrimmage or behind the line (LOWEST in NFL), 31% of his yardage is from YAC (LOWEST in NFL), Throw difficulty 65.4% (2 HIGHEST only to J. Daniels right now), 58% of throws past 15 yards (3rd only to Burrow and Mahomes). Since week 14 2022 when he played... 1st most points per game 29.3, Most yards (as a team) 400.5 per game, Yards per play 6.6 yards. Any more doubt? He can have a bad game here and there...only one I can think is last year vs Ravens.
Fools kept hyping up Geno when I knew he would fold like usual. The same will happen to Sam Darnold also, the Viking will come back down to earth also. Niners should of easily been 5-1 & even had plenty of chances to beat the Vikings.

No they don't derp, if you actually watched the Niners play these past 5 years then you would know they have ALWAYS had games like this where either they couldn't hold a lead or made games closer than what they needed to be, while also losing to teams they should of beat.
