A lot of the special things about Mahomes as a QB comes from his baseball background, and people forget that Purdy has a similar background, so watching him incorporate different arm angles and make accurate throws in weird spots this year is really encouraging for his future growth. Great content, as usual, loving those two TD throws to Kittle.
Loving your breakdowns man. I’m from the uk and although I’ve followed football for years, I’ve never really looked deeper than the play and highlights. Seeing it from multiple angles and having you explain what everyone is doing is giving me a new appreciation for the game. Thanks man.
Where did all those losers who trashed Purdy last year, saying he's Jimmy G 2.0, he's a terrible athlete, he's not top 10-15!? Where you at? I remember telling them to just keep watching. Cuz I knew from his first start, he was special.
You sound like me on the breakdown for my boy Caleb Williams🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣these some diabolical jealous fans. Mad cause these QB ain't they QB. Tuff luck. We love our quarterbacks
I am exiled overseas- I absolutely enjoy your breakdown of the game. I get to see the OLine play- which looks to be improving game by game. You need slow mo to appreciate Brock- the looking off receivers and the high level of play in what is essentially his second season- with his 1st off-season to train- is extremely impressive!!
he was the best qb in the league last year in the league last year, it was him, Josh Allen, and Dak Prescott THEN Lamar. Purdy will have to put up 50 tds to get an mvp.
@@terrythegnome2408 he doesn't need MVP, he's getting paid regardless, team ain't letting him go, Purdy needs to put a 6th Lombardi on the shelf is what he needs.
@@Mike__B damn right. Dummies who don't know ball will keep hating regardless. You know what they say, "winners focus on winning and losers focus on winners."
I thought he underthrew it on purpose on that long throw TD to Deebo. Cause like you said, if he doesn't underthrow it that safety would be in perfect position to contest it.
He threw it to open space. I can't believe people call it an "underthrow". If it's in stride down the sideline, the safety is RIGHT ON TOP OF IT. That's why the safety was playing so far BACK.
I always enjoy watching Chase and JT O’Sullivan breakdown Purdy film. Both give Purdy his praises while still being honest when Purdy isn’t at his best. Because the constant bashing by certain TV “commentators” is so tiring, and we all know who I’m talking about.
One thing I noticed is that alot of teams are starting to call man-coverage on us to slow down Purdy's pass attack. I think ever since the Super Bowl when the chiefs started calling man-coverage, this slowed down our passing production because our receivers couldn't get open as often as we would have liked. Based on your analysis, is this what many teams are doing now against us?
Agreed. They are also using a lot of zone blitz. The three man rushes aren't working. But man coverage, and well designed zone blitz are giving them problems on 3rd and medium to long. Purdy's ability to move is helping, though.
Im tired of people telling me Brock isn't a Top QB in this league. He puts the ball where it needs to go. He doesnt turn the ball over much. Is he flash? No, but he is consistently good.
If you saw him play at iowa state you knew already purdy could scrambel when need be. Kyle just wouldnt allow it much until now that he trust purdy to do his thing when plays brake down. We definitely should do way more play action
28 pressures by the Seahawks Defense... and Purdy still beat up on us. The D-Line needs to get healthy and get more time together before it can be assessed as 'Trash' or 'Not Trash' Go 'Hawks (buckled up for a bumpy ride 🤘💚🏈💙)
Imagine having to cover Deebo, Aiyuk, Jennings, Kittle and McCaffrey in any of 20 different routes from the same formation with different motions. Oh and btw the QB is deceptively quick and can scramble for an easy 8 yard gain.
I'm a little concerned over the loss to the 1-3 Cardinals at home with the Chiefs game coming up. I hope they can pull off the win. They looked great in Seattle.
exactly. And when he outclassed tom brady in his first start. We might look back on that one of these days and feel like that was a passing of the torch. Not saying he's brady but if he continues to play this well for a handful of year, watch out.
Look let's face the facts that behind CMC Manson is the best rusher of this year and a few years to come if he's utilized as he can run for certain games
Can you get on the facility and just compare his first X game of his career to the first X games of Jayden, Brady, Rogers, Mahomes and whoever is on the top 10 QBs of the other hosts to make a point. And dont show the players with those stats and let them discuss. More of an exercise of who would you play?I feel like there is a lot of credit given to other players with more or less talent, but Brock always gets an asterisk because of X, Y Z. And then compare it to another high octane team with a full offensive weapons roster. And also, can we stop saying Mr Irr and talking draft position... instead refer to him as 2023s X ranked QB in (whatever category). Please, and thank you.
Bro this game mattered WAYYYYY more than the chiefs game. We went form last in the division to first in the division with that win. An afc win to the chiefs is purely a mental boost thing. It's a different team too. A lot of this team weren't starting in that cheifs game. Not to mention Purdy played the chiefs once in his career, he has zero baggage.
Barely played in this league and has made it to the the NFCCG his first year, and then the superbowl the next year. Dude has lead the league in so many statistical categories. Give credit where credit is due.
Depends on your definition of elite. He is only QB that is top 5 in every stat since he started in 2022, which is pretty elite. But if you think the only thing that matters is that ring then he is not elite.

That no-look pass😮💨🔥
No, didn't you hear? Patrick Mahomes is the only QB that has ever done that, and is the only one capable!
Just ask Cris Collinsworth! /s
Go Niners.
When he gets REALLY good that'll be a no-look BOUNCE pass.
Chase you are amazing at breaking down film. A elite mind never goes away and you are elite sir.
I appreciate that!

he isn't top 10. Maybe 13

Seabags defense stinks. Everyone looks great against them. Even Dan Jone.
Bock is just different gravy🤌. His scramble, his patience, his long balls
Purdy will be our qb for the foreseeable future 💪🏾💯🏆💍
Ten plus years, multiple mvps, multiple lombardi trophies.

Maybe one day
Purdy is ballin.
17:20. Breaking down the no look pass. Unreal!

That play @12:30 is definitely a similar play to what they've ran before in terms of Kittle chipping, getting lost, and running a route
Wonderful breakdown. Really fun channel.
Much appreciated!

How do u beat man coverage on 3rd down?? Crossing routes, slants, screens, and comebacks. Simple

top5 no doubt
On kittles corner td aiyuk cooked his guy on the other end as well
🐓❤️🔥🙌🏼
I think Purdy is one of the best in the game, but he is missing some shots to Aiyuk. Hopefully they get dialed back in like they were last year.

Why wasn’t he elite last week? Lol
How are you getting this film?
It's all-22 film, you can get it from NFL+
🤫
NFL+ has all 22 film of every game if you pay for it. They also have condensed games, shows every play in about 45 min. Pretty great
His #’s sure aren’t special
As a 49er fan I don't understand why should people get happy after beating a bad team now if we beat mahomes than I will be happy smh
