My initial Tymo Straightener Review ua-cam.com/video/Ts-2GSzydj8/v-deo.html is doing really well so I decided to give you an updated version of how I use it now. If you have any video suggestions leave them below 💕
Man...what's the secret sis. I just watched your big chop video and your last hair straightening video. Your hair has grown so fast and long in just a year. It's insane! Whatever you're doing, keep doing it. I just wanted to show love...let me get back to the video!
I think it’s genetics my hair grows extremely fast. I actually did a big chop with someone at the exact same time and we were confused as to why her hair was growing at a much slower rate than mine. I learned that genetics plays the biggest roll in hair growth.
This is probably the best REALISTIC hair video I have seen. Your hair is super healthy and gorgeous. And you are doing what most of us have the time or patience to do...not all of the different products. I'm am a "lazy natural" also. I will now decide to buy the TYMO because of this video. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for your honesty. Your hair is beautiful. I’m a lazy natural too so I can relate. This year my goal is to truly grow my hair and treat my natural hair healthy and show it love. I’m getting a TYMO this weekend after seeing this I’m soo excited to use it.
I think as my natural hair came through more and thickened up that's what made the middle part work for me. It's all about growth and not just our hair. ❤️❤️❤️
You’re absolutely gorgeous. I’ve never thought about not putting products in my hair I am definitely going to try this out. Right now my main focus is making my hair less dry and getting dandruff.
Definitely a much better outcome and your hair has grown quite a bit. You’ve obviously been much more responsible on your hair journey than I have 😂 I understand the hesitation with heat in the beginning. Glad you’ve found a way to use heat comfortably and responsibly.
@@niadean9518 this was me! i have type 3c hair and get really anxious when using hair straighteners, so i was looking for alternatives that would lower my chances of getting burnt.. was going to get the revlon, but i started overthinking because all the reviews i was seeing weren't by people with my hair type, so i thought it wasn't going to get as straight as i wanted, and then i saw this brush and instantly fell in love. mine is supposed to arrive in the next two weeks. if you haven't gotten it yet, i can give you an update ☺️
Thank you for replying to me! It looks really good. Both you and I have the same hair type. I would suggest you do deep condition maybe once every two or three week or leaving your conditioner in for at least five minutes. With deep condition you can use a moisterizing shampoo to remove all product and you will get even more shine. But yes the diameter of your hair is fine so yes it will soak in your conditioner right away.
Thank you! Your comment made a lot of sense. I never really got into deep conditioning because it didn't seem like it was working but I am going to try again. Do you have any recommendations?
@@ArielleNashaye not your mothers is rlly good! i’m white but a lot of black girls use it too and it makes my hair super softtt, i do have curly wavy hair but nothing like urs
@@danmeck5978 Ab So! DEEP does not mean thick and creamy or a mask. I never got into those products because my hair is fine. Each hair strand is its own room and there is only so much capacity. Half of the time the thick stuff just sit on stop and there is no absorption. My hair does best wirh green tea or ginseng tea and these are literally liquids. Double cap it and it's been better than anything thick I have ever tried.
7:27 it’s better to blow dry your hair first bc it allows you to use less passes when straightening it. When blow drying it’s best to try to get it dry and straight so the straightening isn’t as damaging. :) Edit: also it’s probably best to get a heat protectant (I might have missed it if you used one though)
It looks amazing!! Love it. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely buy this and straighten my hair. I’m all natural. My hair is about 10-12 inches. Currently wearing a wig as of this season but want to focus on my own hair now as my real hair is catching up with the length of my wig lol.
Your hair is just like mine, and while I love my hair natural, I don't have the patience! I said to myself that in order to get this kind of straight I would always pay someone, but you got me wanting to try my hand again!
@@ArielleNashaye 🤣I had a regular lady who got my hair bone straight, but the last time my temple got heat damage and broke completely off! Bald temples!
I would love to give up hair relaxers, but my hair is so kinky and tight that attempting to comb it without being relaxed gives me a headache. My hair, at 12" length when straight, once wet will literally shrink to 1" (no exaggeration). If there is a 5C or 6C hair type, I think I have it. I'm going to try the brush though, give it to myself as a gift to justify the cost.
My hair is similar.. but since it's been growing past my ears (unstretched) I feel like the texture is getting a little more loose. It could just be in my head. I feel like as my hair grows I learn new things about it. This would be a great gift for yourself. You'll have to let me know your experience.
You sold me, I’ve been natural for 5 years nd haven’t flat iron my hair, but you sold me on the tymo nd im doing it!!!!…. Great video btw beautiful hair
I’m literally about to buy this and try it today! What shampoo and conditioner do you recommend? I love that your hair is actually curly! Most natural vids with results as good as yours have super loose curls!
Right now I like the Tresemme Moisture Rich shampoo and the Aussie Miracle Coils conditioner together. It works really well for me and helps wash day go smoother 💕
How long does your hair last in warm weather? My type 4C hair always frizzes up in warm weather. And I'm not sure if I missed you say this but did you use a heat protectant?

Thanks Jess 💕 I mean from doing this process without heat protectant. Or blow drying my hair without heat protectant. I also don't do it often so that could be the real reason.
Hello Ariell, is that the Tymo you also used with the 1st video? I ask to know if the unit last long. And how long does the straight effect last? I came here because of tha 1st video 😊. Thank u
Mine were frizzy the first time I used it but I had just big chopped so I think that was why. Do you blow dry with a comb attachment? I would try using a paddle or Denman brush while blow drying to really get the ends straight... that way the tymo will glide right through and no have to do much.
My hair was thin when I wasn’t natural which is one of the main reasons I went natural too. How did you get rid of the knotting on your ends, I always get those when trying to blow dry or flat iron smh?
I started deep conditioning... but I have stopped now just because I dont see it really helping my hair. I probably did it 3 or 4 times and really focused on my ends. My ends were VERY bad. I trimmed often and would moisturize and seal, then braid my hair back up. I have not had that probably since I've stopped the deep conditioning so I would start there. Oh and of course try not to use heat until you get your ends right 💕

@@ArielleNashaye I absolutely am blown away with your growth! I can’t wait to get this dang perm off my ends! I’m scared to do a big chop though bc I have lots of natural hair and only a little perm on my ends
I wanna know why do people put product in their hair before straightening and why others don't. I'm about to straighten my hair after 4 years of becoming natural(with tymo) and I have no clue on how to prepare or treat straight hair. So that's why I really enjoyed this video because there's no product and to see how bouncy and flowy it is, is amazing. Hopefully I can get similar results.
For me I never liked putting product before heat (unless it was wet and before I blow dried) because it made me feel like my hair was frying and heavier. Even in hair school I stopped using products on clients before flat ironing because it didn't feel right. I'm not saying it's the only way though. I hope you love your results without product though. You can always add them in after or the next day
Hey long do your hair stay straight before it starts to thicken back up? My hair when I get it hot combed maybe a day or 2 but with flat irons a couple of hours

I've used mines twice with product, without product, small sections and for some reason it looks great in the first 5 mins then the more I turn my head the puffier it gets and I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong

I thought I found a hot that strengthen like a hot comb u put on the stove. This Tymo hot comb looks like it takes up to much time parting the hair in tiny sections. I have thick hair. I'll stick to my old straightening comb.
My hair is kind of weird because a few times of using this and I would say it does good with humidity for the length of the hair - I can wear it for a week or two straight before I get tired of it. I just wet my hair down wards then put conditioner in it and then put it in a low bun then let it dry then brush it with a brush and Walsh you got blow dried hair without heat and then you style it as blow dried straight hair or wear it out I’ll make a video soon how ido mine
I used this. For some reason, my hair puffed up afterwards. I washed it, used heat protector, blow dried and then used the Tymo. Any tips. It would not even hold a curl
If not the humidity it could be the product in your hair. Maybe your conditioner wasn't completely rinsed out... or your heat protectant is expired or simply used too much. It could be so many things. Check your tools and make sure they are super clean. I've used my blow dryer on dirty hair then turned around to use it on clean hair and I could tell a difference.
