      I think it’s genetics my hair grows extremely fast. I actually did a big chop with someone at the exact same time and we were confused as to why her hair was growing at a much slower rate than mine. I learned that genetics plays the biggest roll in hair growth.

    Thank you for replying to me! It looks really good. Both you and I have the same hair type. I would suggest you do deep condition maybe once every two or three week or leaving your conditioner in for at least five minutes. With deep condition you can use a moisterizing shampoo to remove all product and you will get even more shine. But yes the diameter of your hair is fine so yes it will soak in your conditioner right away.

    7:27 it’s better to blow dry your hair first bc it allows you to use less passes when straightening it. When blow drying it’s best to try to get it dry and straight so the straightening isn’t as damaging. :)
    Edit: also it’s probably best to get a heat protectant (I might have missed it if you used one though)

    I would love to give up hair relaxers, but my hair is so kinky and tight that attempting to comb it without being relaxed gives me a headache. My hair, at 12" length when straight, once wet will literally shrink to 1" (no exaggeration). If there is a 5C or 6C hair type, I think I have it. I'm going to try the brush though, give it to myself as a gift to justify the cost.

      @ArielleNashaye  3 роки тому +2

      Mine were frizzy the first time I used it but I had just big chopped so I think that was why. Do you blow dry with a comb attachment? I would try using a paddle or Denman brush while blow drying to really get the ends straight... that way the tymo will glide right through and no have to do much.

  • @Princessofeats
    @Princessofeats 3 роки тому +7

    My hair was thin when I wasn’t natural which is one of the main reasons I went natural too. How did you get rid of the knotting on your ends, I always get those when trying to blow dry or flat iron smh?

    • @ArielleNashaye
      @ArielleNashaye  3 роки тому +2

      I started deep conditioning... but I have stopped now just because I dont see it really helping my hair. I probably did it 3 or 4 times and really focused on my ends. My ends were VERY bad. I trimmed often and would moisturize and seal, then braid my hair back up. I have not had that probably since I've stopped the deep conditioning so I would start there. Oh and of course try not to use heat until you get your ends right 💕

I can say it last longer than my flat ironed hair as far as the length of my hair. The length will try to puff up but once I brush it.. it's good to go.

    How does this hold up against humidity?

    • @ArielleNashaye

      My hair is kind of weird because a few times of using this and I would say it does good with humidity for the length of the hair - I can wear it for a week or two straight before I get tired of it. However, it does not really do much for my roots for long term. Especially in the middle where my hair is super coily

    What is your hair type. I think we have the exact same hair type it was a little uncanny seeing your hair actually. But I don't know what mine is so hoping you know yours

      When going natural I think your hair go through so many different stages, especially weening off all the chemicals. So I had a time when I was like what is my hair type lol as well. But short answer 4c.

    You should have layers cut into your hair as it’s straight. I bet you will look bomb with a sleek Aaliyah like style 💕

    I just wet my hair down wards then put conditioner in it and then put it in a low bun then let it dry then brush it with a brush and Walsh you got blow dried hair without heat and then you style it as blow dried straight hair or wear it out I’ll make a video soon how ido mine

    I used this. For some reason, my hair puffed up afterwards. I washed it, used heat protector, blow dried and then used the Tymo. Any tips. It would not even hold a curl

      If not the humidity it could be the product in your hair. Maybe your conditioner wasn't completely rinsed out... or your heat protectant is expired or simply used too much. It could be so many things. Check your tools and make sure they are super clean. I've used my blow dryer on dirty hair then turned around to use it on clean hair and I could tell a difference.
