  • demo of song up till 01.10 & then tutorial starts - NB there is a transcription of the chords used here below in comments kindly worked out by my friend "zoe0764" -
btw ive already posted a clip of this song on here in an easier singalong style which might be better for beginners to learn -- this is sort of a jazzier take on the theme -

    Very very nice! thanks
I was just looking for an guitar arrangment for this song. And yours gave me a lot of precious hints
And for a benefit of the all useres, as I did it for my self - I trascribe the chords you used in order to be able to improvise over. Please correct me if I'm wrong
b, b7maj, b7, E7 (or even better - b6, same positioning just drop the E note on the seventh fret 5°th string)
    e7, C#7, F#7add b9 (your misterious chord :) )
    back to
    b b7maj b7 b6
    e7 F#7add b9 b
    second part
e7 (as you play it. yet you can still do the same passage e-emaj7 - e7 sounds grate), A7, Dmaj7
e7 C#7 F#7 addb9 (yet here may be better to play A7 instead of C#7)

      ***** little "b's" indicate minor. B = major; b = minor

It does mean flat. But it can still mean other things. They were clearly talking about Bminor

      *****
actually, if standing alone, b stands for Bminor. If it stand with another letter, like Eb - it stands for flat for example Eb=E flat major.
I wrote the chords as you often find it: big letter for the major chord. small letter for the minor. So the chords you typed were precisly the same with mine (some differences yes, like E9 where I suggested E7, so I think I'll try that out)
Nick was right, but so are you.
      B= B major b=minor
yet b does also =flat but only when preceded by another letter. like Bb would be Bflat major
The point is that you didn't even reflect about what my post was about (if you thought that b=flat, than my chord progression was not wrong, it was meaning less. Did you really read it like "flat. flat 7maj, flat 7, a major or minor chord on E ????) but started a discussion with "Man you are wrong". It is funny to see a person that evidentialy did not understand what was written starts immediatly with "man you are wrong" ;) and than keeps on "go get your music" lol

There is one point that I do not understand; why in standard version you start in Em and in Jazzy you attack in B?
Can you explain to me and why not play everything on the same scale?
    Thank you in advance
