In Fair Haven, New Haven CT in the '60's I grew up on Fox Street, a dead end with twp perpendicular docks that were the Shipping (longest) and Receiving Depts for the A.C. Gilbert Company. Some of my Neighbors and my Friend's Mothers worked in the assembly Dept until the Factory closed in 1966. At that time they were only assembling S gauge Locomotives. And on piecework throughout the Factory.

I don't have any room to run S gauge, but I do like the American Flyer HO engines when I find them.
