For the ruby rod, i think by default it creates 5-7 rupee pickups, usually at least a blue one, so you get average of 10 per shot, at 16 shots, but can create higher value ones too. With average luck it's 160 ruppeees before having to recharge so, there is a good chance to at least break even. (and insta killing enemies is handy for the more annoying ones too)
Not sure if you're aware Barb, but both this vid and the last one started skipping sections during the last floor or two. Hope you can get it sorted out, kinda sucks to watch 3+ hours and then miss parts of the lead-up to the final battle.
You should think of the each wall of the room as having 3 sections, corresponding to an hour on the clock. Going clockwise, the top wall has 11, 12, 1. Right has 2, 3, 4. Down has 5, 6, 7. Left has 8, 9, 10.
Fantastic game, my only gripes with it at the moment is it could use some variety (bosses, alternate weapons or just different characters that use different equipment), and the final boss I wish there were 2 phases as it currently feels like only heart containers make any difference for him and it'd be nice if your equipment was used for P1 and P2 was no gear (currently no gear at all for the whole fight feels like collecting everything didn't really matter, just need to get to the boss room alive with full hp).

Taking away all your power ups for the final boss seems to go against the spirit of a rougelike. Idk if there’s more phases after a couple hits but it feels pretty disappointing if you don’t get them back.

The more correct saying is "Here’s hoping" It’s more concise and natural in English. The phrase "Here’s to hoping" adds an unnecessary word ("to"), which makes it sound a bit awkward or less fluid.
I wish I was wrong but, given how much it doesn't even disguise the Zelda part. (even has the 'nintendo presents' thing when opening it!) it will 100% get dmca'd and have the author ask to delete or stop it. At least it got out, perhaps the dev might make it open source so people can take the source as well. Of course, there is the 'easy' solution to just remove the zelda branding, (replace music, sounds and graphics/sprites) and the game would work just as well. But who knows. The dev says they are not planning to work on the thing for a while, taking a break after 4 years and a big rush for dev. And the next proper update is likely months away. We can only hope nintendo doesn't pay attention to this for a while.

When you've already got a pair, there's no reason to hold a high card along with it. You're getting one less draw for no reason.
