Great instruction! Love the videos! Got my Beat Buddy. It's helping lots. I am hoping for more R.E.M. like "Don't Go Back To Rockville", "Driver 8", or "Radio Free Europe". So many more!
SWEEET! I can feel myself getting ready to binge this channel. New sub here. The full play along is wonderful and something most of the guitar channels don't offer.
Hello Shane, I love your channel. I am completely blind and I am relearning to Guitar, I love your songs and your lessons. Thank you for all your doing. Blessings.
@@mariarusso1325 hello Marie, this is Benny, I always enjoy making new friends, I’m wondering, do you play guitar? If you do, how long have you been playing? I’ve been playing for a while. I hope things are great with you, and I would like to keep in touch. Sending you many blessings and best wishes, peace.😎
@@boxcarb.johnson733 my late dad use to play guitar at home when he was alive and I enjoyed it lol. Surprisingly you look like a long lost friend I met sometime in San Francisco and we shared a couple of drinks at the beach but maybe I’m just seeing you in another person even though I feel connected already from far I hope you’re doing well. I’m a jeweler by profession and have a small shop here in the LA district. I’m 34 year old single woman with no kids and live here in LA.
This one should help with my picking accuracy for sure. Can’t stress enough how useful the play along portion is for me, not just for the recovery skills but I can as you say really use them to nail those parts that seem to allude my fingers. And please keep the lead work coming, very helpful and it’s gives me an excuse to pull the electric out too. Thanks again Shane, Wally.
Excellent video! I am learning this song and couldn't make sense of a part and when I looked for a video I watched a few until I found this one it was the most helpful, I'm now subscribed after checking out some other videos this is exactly what I needed. Thanks for making these videos
Woah...I just found your channel...I'm impressed the way you teach your guitar lessons...I've been playing as a hobby for about 5 yrs...and I've been trying to nail this song to no avail...thanx..I just subscribed because you actually TEACH
That Beat Buddy and looper is so Cool. And the Paneotonic Scale I see why it’s important! Thanks! I learned this song today woke up feeling h great and this song was in my head looked up the Chords and played all including the F, B and C5 no problem! I had been struggling with them now it magically just comes out of my fingers! After three weeks of 10 minute sessions practicing. Also if I mess up I just stay on G or Duntil it co es around and I get the timing right. 96 bpm is fast! Fills are easy.
Hi Shane, thanks for this lesson. I’m busy going through your repertoire and love your teaching style. Very explanatory. All the best from Allan in Geordieland! Newcastle North East England ❤
Great Stuff Shane, you are a great teacher. Always loved this song, but never touched it. You make it look so easy, so better give it a 6, 8, bash now. Cheers 🍻 👏 ✌️
So sorry for my previous comment. I jumped the gun. You did tell us what genre, tempo you were using. The drumbeat you're using would also be helpful. Thank you. Your site is extremely educational.
Love this! My best friend hung himself new years day...was really pissed off at him at first...still am a little... looking for away to honor tho...if you know hang by matchbox 20, id appreciate it
Shane, I love your videos and just recently got a beatbuddy. Can you tell me what kind of board you are set up on, also could you recommend a pedal for a beginner with an electric guitar? Thank you
Oh by the way, I was wondering if you were PDFs and other guitar lessons are accessible or can I use them when I’m completely blind? I was just wondering. Again, thank you so much for your lessons and your channel, peace and many blessings.😎😎😎😎
I love your videos, i have a question for the penatonic scale that your using why does it work over the G chord as well as the D? This is really a great video
You constantly push the beat buddy BUT it would be very helpful to us ( I own one) if you would tell us what genre and drumbeat you are using with the songs. Just only informing us that you're using the really doesn't cut it.
Hi Shane, thank you for covering this song. I really enjoy your style of teaching and your fun hyper personality!
Very glad - thank you! Shane.

I need a little help on the fills. For fill#1 is there no shape? on Fill #2 do you keep the "A" shape on the first 4 notes followed by 3, 2?
Hi Charles - you can abandon the chord shapes for both of those fills. All good! Shane
Sir?
You suggest the down d d up u u for the 6/8
Is there a specific reason?
I'm trying it with alternate picking d up d up d u
And I'm a beginner
I love your videos, i have a question for the penatonic scale that your using why does it work over the G chord as well as the D? This is really a great video
Can you do a lesson on electric guitar Joe cocker summer in the city
I got a ditto..guess I need a beat buddy now..lol
