Nice one must have been there just a few days before you guys, Yes we spoke to a couple of guys in Blinman and they were turned away on GS1200's, Us on CRF1000 were OK also. Some of the 4WD's that stay at the track get the keys the night before and start the run early, we caught some 4wd right up near gate 41 and they were on the track at 6am.
First time I did skytrek on my drz I was fully loaded too. it wasn't until I got back to the caretakers cottage that they told me I could've left my gear there. oh well. It was much easier and more fun the 2nd time I did it with my brother neither one of us had luggage, him on his KTM 450 and me still on the mighty DR-Z
Cheers for the vid mate 👍 I are assuming that there would be enough time to start the loop first thing in the morning and have plenty of time to end up in Blinman for the night? Do ya think I’m nuts or yeah definitely doable?? Thanks in advance :)
@ Cheers for that, I was doing some googling last night and it appeared so but just wanted to make sure, I’m organising something for a few of the lads so if I get it wrong I’ll be buying the beers for eternity haha
@@slug.racing it took us 3.5 hours with a fair few stops. I’d say you could knock it over in 2.5 hours or 6 hours, just depends on how many sites you want to take in.
Your old man would be looking down with pride on you Lance.
I would love to check that route!
Thanks Lance for another awesome vid.
Looks like a great track.
Great video Lance and very informative. Thanks for putting in the effort to make this vid.
great area mate
Nice ride Lance, fuk they cranked the atmospheric frequencies up that day, plainly obvious at the 14min mark...
Thanks to you I just bought a DRZ400
same reason I bought mine heh, enjoy...
I definitely would have bought one if they were available where I live. Now I have a CRF300l and I am very happy with it.
Hanging to do this track

@@TheAussieSamurai well at least you can say you have done it kitted up. That’s the way to go at least once I reckon.
