    Thank you for this video! I've watched eight videos trying to learn more about go high level missed call text back feature. The seven videos before yours just make it sound like it's a slam dunk to charge a potential customer 297 a month and you're going to make them thousands of dollars because of you're going to send a text message back to a missed call. As a business owner for 25 years the first thing I thought of was how am I supposed to interact with that potential customer now? That's great a software sends a can message or a custom message but nobody mentioned anything about an app or responding inside the software and in your video you actually mentioned that there is a app you can download for the conversation. So thank you for that! Is there a drawback to porting over the customers currents phone number or just forwarding that phone number to the new go high level phone number?

      Woew thanks that is a lot. I would not port their number over it could take time and get messy. Just get a new ghl number and setup the ivr system to forward to the main business line. Thanks for watching.

    Nice vid, thank you. Do you find that businesses are hesitant to purchase this service as it effectively changes their phone number? A lot of places have their existing number printed on signs and vehicles, would it be worth it at that point for them and how do you sell that?

      ​@@HLGuy great vid, thank you! how does 2-way texting forward/respond to their PERSONAL number? for example, you set up a custom number for their domain > someone calls that number > no response > trigger auto text back > internal notification to client they missed a call > lead responds to missed call tb > client can see text back response in app, or even an internal automation notification back to their phone. but if they want to respond to lead via text from their phone...is that possible? or only in app?

      Jacob the way I sell it is that we only use the number for call tracking. The new number will be forwarded to their original business number. They both will work but now you will be able to track new customers that call.

    Will I be able to use two phone numbers for the MCTB? So if a customer calls either of the two numbers I have in GoHL, will the customer receive the MCTB? Or can I only setup one phone number for the MCTB?

      Only one number for mctb and that is the default number in the list. Keep in mind that is how the system works but you can create a workflow with trigger of customer replied then choose channel of call and another filter of phone number. Then you can respond to any phone number. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

      This can be challenging but here is how you explain it to business owners. We are changing your business number publicly so that we can start tracking the calls that you receive. Your main business number will still function and customers can call you on it but since we want to track new customers to your business we need to have a new phone number to do so. Now the new phone number will simply forward to your existing business number. The new number is just for tracking only. Hope this helps.

    Should a separate phone number be bought and used in GHL for Database Reactivation than the one used for Missed Call Text Back?

      I would say yes. The MCTB feature in the profile settings is for default number. You can setup a WF with customer replied and have channel as missed call it will do the same on the DR number or just use the IVR system for that line. Thank you for watching.

    Hey i am trying to put this into the new IVR system, basically because the Voice mail on the personal number is activated It won't recognize the phone call as missed or what not and thinks it's completed so it won't intiate the missed call text feature!

      You will need to have a timeout value added to the IVR system so it does not go to the personal number voicemail.

      @@HLGuy Seems like if I do a duration it triggers the missed text after the voice mail. Is it possible to set up the missed text back as a seperate auto mation? New to GHL

      @@BelieverStarcraft if you are using the IVR then why try to use the missed call text back? All that feature does is to send them a text if no one answers. Can't you just setup your IVR workflow to do the same?

      @@HLGuy yes that’s what I’m trying to do. I’m using the workflow to send a custom text back for a pool service company.
      For example, if a lead calls in they can either hit 1,2 or 3 to go to the different operations sides of the business. If they hit 1 and get transferred to the service side of the business and we aren’t able to answer. I would want there be a missed call text follow up and if they called again I would want a variation of a text to be sent. Issue is when i set io the if else statement on IVR call status as busy, canceled, or decline because if the voice mail on the direct line the workflow can’t recognize the call as busy canceled or declined… the lead will leave a voice mail on the direct call, end the call and workflow won’t continue.
      I tried doing a duration that is less than or equal too 20 seconds so if the client calls and its seems to work but still goes to voice mail on the direct line.
      Tried reaching out to support seems like theres no work around.. possibly disabling voice mail on the directline to allow the IVR voice mail to trigger then the missed call text afterwards.

    Its a shame this can't be used with the customer's existing number. Deal breaker for many

      It can be but the existing number would need to be ported into the LC Phone system.
