    Hi Ray, your video was SO detailed and informative. Unfortunately, I am still having the issue of not getting the incoming call come through my phone. All I get is a pop-up Notification letting know that I was getting an incoming call. But the call never rings on my phone. It's SO frustrating and I double checked on all you mentioned on the video. Any other suggestions? Really appreciate the help!

    Thank you this is exactly what I have spent hours trying to figure out. I noticed that if a call is declined that it keeps ringing and never goes to a voicemail. How can that be fixed?

      There are several areas to set timeouts and you will have to test it. There is a timeout and the phone number level, another at the company area in the sub account settings and then again in the my staff area of the sub accounts settings so I cant tell you how to fix it. It really depends on how your phone system is setup.

      @@HLGuy do you by any chance know how to implement a Missed text trigger into IVR phone system? When it rings to my actual phone the voice mail activates with At&t and doesnt time out the call and doesnt trigger the missed call text.

    This is very helpful. I watched it because I can't get incoming calls to ring. They shoe up for 1/2 a second on the screen then disappear. I'm going to try some of the things you suggested here to fix that.

    Hey Ray Great content - wanted to see if you help with what's happening with the app on my iphone 12. When a get a call its only showing as a notification and I can not take the call live. Is there a work around for that? - thanks

      You are probably better setting up the IVR workflow and then connect the call to a person if the caller chooses the right option. Thanks for watching.

    Also what inbound call timeout do you recommend. Also is the default timeout coming from the number or the staff member.

      The MCTB can't work unless the call does not connect. If it connects to a voicemail then the MCTB will not fire.

    Hey Ray, is there any way to use an existing company phone number in GHL to make calls in GHL and use it for SMS texts?

      You can port the number to twilio and use it within GHL.

    Thank you for this video. I just transitioned to GoHighLevel but whenever I make an outbound call or receive an inbound call I won't hear anyone on the other line and vice versa. Can you maybe help me out with this issue? None on our community was able to help me. I followed everything you said from properly integrating the ring group and configuration stuff but still facing the same problem.

      I would first try just making a call from the desktop version of GHL. Call your cell phone and see if it works. If that does not work then there is an issue. If that works then try call from your phone back into the lc phone number and see if that works.

      Is there a desktop version? You mean the website? Coz I already did that. I can do outbound, I can get notified for an inbound call but whenever I answer I couldn't hear anyone. My headset is working fine coz I can call using other apps.

      @@HLGuy Hi. Thanks for your response. I finally found the cause of the problem. It was just my browser after all. GoHighLevel won't work on Google so I tried it on Mozilla and boom, it worked!

    Thanks for this video, it's super helpful! I'm trying to figure out the appropriate Incoming Call Timeout for my client though... I saw you had it at 15 sec, is that what you set all calls to for clients?

      No each of these settings needs to be tested and configured separately for accuracy.

    Great video, but I'm having problems where someone is calling my LC number but I cant receive the call? Its a UK number too and I'm based in the UK. Really frustrating!

      I would need to understand how your system is setup to answer this question. Are you using IVRE? Do you have a forwarding number or group pooling? etc.

    On the Configure, the "Enable Call connect Feature" is checked by default. Do I leave it checked or no? I don't understand why I would want someone to press a key when they call.

      I see what you are saying. Depending on whether you pass the caller id value to the receiver or not you may not be able to detect the type of call you are getting so the call to connect feature lets you know itsa a call from the office and you can then decide to accept the call or not. Hope this helps.

    my GHL rings my phone for 1 second and goes directly to my cell phones voicemail how do i fix that and use the GHL VOICEMAIL UPLOADED

      You have to play with the timeout values on the call and have it revert to GHL if no one answers from the cell. Thank you for watching.

      The issue was two parts…1. I was calling my GHL phone from my cell phone…that was in that business contact section…then when I took that out it wouldn’t dial because i was using my cell…or a Google voice number that also forwards to my cell so it kept going direct to voicemail…different phone and 3 second timeout and it worked perfect thanks

    So if I'm using the LC phone system, I can't set the callbacks to only go to the web app? Why is there an option in the user settings "Forward Calls to: Web app, Mobile app, My phone number"? I have set inbound calls to go to the web app and yet it always rings my private phone number.

      The phone system is crazy how many things can interfere. There are several items that can be changed to make that setup possible. You can contact support for assistance if you need to.

    I am having an issue where my phone doesn’t ring at all and then my lead connector app notification pops up saying VM:undefined. I’m a solopreneur so I don’t need any users configured. I have the business number filled in and ring incoming to all users checked off. Any suggestions?

      I would use the IVR system and have it do what you want. Once the IVR system is setup it takes precedence over any other phone setup. Thanks for watching.

    How do I just get it to go to voicemail? I don't want to answer it. I just want them to get the voicemail and then I have it set up to send them a missed call text back. But at the moment, they just get a busy signal.

      Great question but I have to clarify which voicemail? If you want them to leave a message in lc phone system then on the default number do not place a forward or use ring group feature. REmove business number from profile and set the incoming timeout to say 2 sec. You could use the IVR system and would be a more logica approach. Hope that helps.

    Step 2 is saying if a contact calls, and that contact is assigned to a user, then it will forward to the user that is assigned to that contact.

      Yes thats correct if the user has their own phone number but if not it will just go to default number.
