OMG the firearm safety in this made me cringe soooo hard. Shooting at targets without some kind of berm behind it but a roadway instead is simply criminal. This would be careless use of a firearm here in Canada.

I once met a ranger at a campsite who mentioned in case of a bear to give a warning shot to never fire up in the air, and to fire into the ground instead. He noted that warning shots even can be dangerous because the bullet has to come down somewhere. They talked about this at their training because it was that important. It is a great responsibility to have any kind of gun and so I appreciate that everyone is bringing this to light that it truly is very dangerous to have a gun on public land, and not understand the responsibility that it can be. Thank you so much for mentioning the gun safety when it comes to Holster and things like that as well.

My first time watching this road episode and they both should get their firearms taken away. I initially thought they were shooting across the road but really shooting down the road. This is so upsetting. No wonder why he is getting out of Nevada so quickly, they should be looking for these guys any day.
Thank you...I did my own video on this and got slammed by a few who thought that he did nothing wrong. there are so many things wrong with Tim and his "wisdom" of gun ownership is awful. I heard that people speculated that he didn't cut his finger on a staple gun but rather by racking the slide. He just makes it worse for all of us responsible gun owners. Very dangerous advice and a terrible example. I've carried for several years now and the first thing I did was to take some really good training courses. And I agree a sticky holster is not the best choice for conceal carry....I have one, but just it for quickly going outside as you do. I will bet that Tim has had no formal training. Did you notice his pattern on his targets? honesty my daughter did better the first time she ever shot a firearm and she was shooting my HK VP9SK 9mm. Where did all those rounds go to? Right through that pallet and across the road behind his target. Can't believe it. thanks for making a really good video showing Tims lack of firearm skills..

Shooting with a road as the backstop instead of a proper backstop is do stupid….bullets can travel a mile or more.

If I'm not pocket carrying my snubbie, with a leather holster designed for that pistol. I belt carry with at least a level II retention. SOB carry opens your pistol to somebody snatching it. His range habits are scary at best. I have over 1000 hours personal training plus 25 years of daily on the job carry plus quarterly training for that. I can say Tim is an idiot with some qualification to that statement.

Years ago my buddy was showing me some firearms he inherited from his dad. The first Glock 9 he handed me muzzle first! I rudely told him to NEVER do that again and he said"They aren't loaded." The next was a Ruger and he handled properly ...BUTT...I racked the slide and a fkn cartridge ejected! I hit him so hard I thought I broke my hand! We are still great friends and he has respected firearm safety ever since.

I was made to feel like an idiot for shooting a warning shot into a freaking cow field. I may use this video for defense. I'm pending charges...still. yup, they have 3 years to decide. You can't make the ish up. I was defending myself and my property. I didn't have the "right," they said. When I see this, it pisses me off.

I was Firearms Trained through a Sheriff's Department ... it's a common question, and many think it's OK to ' fire one off ' ... but no... there are so many scenarios .

Excellent video. I don’t watch Tim, so the older ones I had not seen but the shooting range one I saw ,on another review channel. Seeing them having the targets set up near the road nearly floored me. I don’t own a firearm but I have taken gun safety courses, when I was a youngster, and have gone both target shooting and hunting with responsible gun owners who always stressed safety and this type of behavior would never be tolerated.This honyawk is truly an example of an ignorant, stupid and irresponsible gun owner . He treats this tool as a little boy treats a blue plastic squirt gun instead of respecting it as the lethal weapon it is . Thank you for this safety video it was very much needed. Tim is certainly a man child and menace as a gun owner.
I totally agree with you for the most part, however, that safety rule is seldom completed, it's "treat every firearm as loaded "until you check and clear it"", otherwise how will you even clean it, or work on it?

One has to wonder about the mental stability. And then the shooting across or literally down a road with the ballistics of the bullet doing something like a 1000 feet per second. They make authentic simulated ammunition. Not mere dummy rounds or snap caps. They are Sammi spec for size, weight, and have a red colored "bullet" to distinguish them.
I recommend them for dry fire but also function checks.
Be aware that some compact and micro compact semi autos actually aren't designed to eject live ammo.
Read that again.
Some semi autos do not handle unfired; live ammo well upon trying to eject a round manually.
This issue comes up more often than you think.
Let's say you have a malfunction with your micro compact pistol and assume a tap and rack will clear it.
Not all of the budget options can clear a loaded but failed round.
