    What you have called the handle is actually the anti-tip bar and you have installed it upside down.

    Thank you! Just bought this tool and was putting it together alone! I’ve never done anything like this and you made it so easy to understand. Wish me luck!

    Thanks for making this video, I’m new to using power miter saws and didn’t know how to unlock the silly thing because in all the details inside the instruction manual there isn’t one SINGLE, SIMPLE section that assume your are not building this saw yourself. It’s ridiculous and Ryobi should pay you for making this video. Kept me from taking it back to store and looking like an idiot.

    Thanks for the video....I'm on the fence about this one or the sliding saw. Just need for regular home jobs.

    Thinking of getting this or the sliding mitre saw

      Both are great choices, the portable sliding mitre saw has longer cutting area, laser guide, & requires 2 batteries. I opted for this one since it's lighter and more portable.

    I'm looking at a cheaper alternative to the dewalt radial arm saw. I need one for aluminium joinery! How solid does it feel when cutting? Would you recommend it? Any reply appreciated cheers from Australia 👍

    Taking the battery out between cuts? Really? Do you also unplug corded miter saws between cuts? Strange.

  • @kermantraditional4274

    Throw the wood clamp in the trash, it’s useless, and takes way too long in between cuts.

  • @rickgeller6043
    @rickgeller6043 3 роки тому +2

    Very idiotic to insert battery and remove after every cut. Safety is keeping your finger off the trigger until you are ready to make a cut. Just like shooting a gun. Finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
