This piece of art sent me into a rabbit hole of thoughts around the word "peace". Many times we believe that the only way to achieve peace among controversal parts would require many elements in agreement, just like joining these fabric pieces. A new fabric collage and backing was needed, along further stitching and tweaking. In my mind however, a strong bridge of threads, and only threads, as if part of the core running stitches, would be enough to keep Peace secure. ❤

I appreciate that you've shown us the technical aspects of joining pieces and covering the tie after the fact as it were.

I have just finished a "book" for a 2yr old in this manner. She can find her own storys in it, turned out really cute
