I wanted to send a picture of my misprinted Captain America helmet but then I saw that it is in this video :")
I recently realized that my 2004 Trelawney (one of the rarest Harry Potter figures) does not have the black creases printed around its mouth, making it a misprint!

Being completely honest, those misprinted Whiplash helmets would look amazing from the front, because they have no printing there. They'd be pretty useful for custom figures and mocs.
I got the 501st battle pack. One of the heavy troopers’ helmets was printed way too low. The mouth filter was barely even on the helmet. It’s kinda cool tho as it’s the only misprinted piece I’ve ever gotten.
I said it once, and I’ll say it again: We don’t call them mistakes we call them happy accidents.

I had a misprinted Chewbacca back in 2000 and Lego sent me a new one for free. I didn't think they did replacement minifigs.

I got a badly molded piece in my jay's arcade pod, the transparent 2by1 tile was molded too small to fit on studs. It's not worth anything but It's pretty cool to get errors like that
i have a typewriter set where my shift key has a white background with black letters instead of a black background and white letters, somehow its pretty cool

My personal fav kind of misprints are peices being made in the wrong colours like for example the ruru and matatu from the 2001 bionicle mask packs being sometimes being in the stander toa colours instead of the turaga colours or the weird light blue and yellow kaukau from the same mask pack I always find those misprints so interesting

My James Bond DB5's radiator was printed lopsided. It's on the flat side of a brick so I don't know how that'd happen.

New March Lego R2-D2 set has misprint instructions, step 26 and before has blue pins but step 27 and after they turn purple even though we only get blue ones

My lego lego Jay from his 2nd tournament of elementary suit has somthing wrong about the eyebrow cut. You can barely even see it and when I look the figure up it has a way bigger eyebrow cut

This makes me wonder if I should open all my backlogged sets to check just so I can get them replaced while the sets are still in circulation... 😅
I'd honestly recommend it, if you're not planning on keeping them sealed. I got two (including the owl featured) in a two month period. I love my wonky little guy, but I'm also very thankful that Lego sent me a properly printed one for the sake of display 😅
@@Hylian_Herald The thing is I don't have room to display all of it at the moment (or any time in the near future). So while I do plan on opening them eventually, just the fact that there's a chance some time down the line I might end up selling them instead, makes me think I should keep them sealed for now. That being said, I reckon opened boxes won't lower value much as long as the bags are still sealed. Then again, I think I have some sets that are approaching 10 years old... should I still open them? 😅
@@pewpewdragon4483 Honestly, the issue only seems to be THIS common in 2022 and 2023 sets. Obviously misprints happen, but the issue has gotten worse.
