1:12:44 Dr. Julius M. Hibbert, originally dubbed by Klaus Guth, later by Fritz von Hardenberg and Berno von Cramm, is the Simpsons' family doctor. He is married to Bernice Hibbert and has three children, a girl and two boys. Hibbert always laughs in the most inappropriate situations to relieve stress,

50:00 yeah nuclear energy doesn't glow at all, it's generally solid and metallic in nature, even in pools though it doesn't glow, the idea of nuclear waste glowing comes from radon and a completely different chemical than radium which actually glowed, the radium in radon just acted as an activator for that glowing chemical, but people just assumed the radium glew for whatever reason and now most nuclear energy is largely associated with that green glow

@37:20: "Kids don't come flyin' out like that..." Tell that to the L&D nurse when my son was born. Not only did she have to tell my wife to STOP after the 3rd push since the doc wasn't there yet, she had to go long to catch junior for a touchdown! He came flyin' out like greased lightning. Was my wife's and my first and only child back in March 2013.

Thats honestly a scary point for me and for my dad, because my father, may he rest in peace, was actually immune to the effects of morphine, which they tried to use when they relocated his shoulder... From what mom told me he passed out twice from pain over load

Great reactions as always Doc. Also both my parents, actually works at a hospital too. My dad being an IT supporter, making sure computers and printers work with the right programs and that old ones get stripped for reusable parts.
While my mom is sitting by the desk where patients arrive at the X-ray area. She has also been at other areas in the hospital, but some got too stressful for her so she moved to a more suitable one for her. 😀😀🏥🏥

Apparently I'm practically immune to morphine. In the hospital they were giving me an EXTREMELY HIGHT DOSE...and I didn't feel any difference i was still rolling around groaning loudly with pain. Tiny bit of dilaudid at a minimal dose did wonders. They won't give it to me anymore cause they think I'm a junkie so I just refuse the morphine and suffer until the problem is dealt with. They were giving me .04 grams every 4 hours with no effect which I guess is alot

You should do a video about slang terms in the medical world. I think "breadbasket" was one back in the 80's? Despite being a child of the 80's, I honestly don't remember.
Also something I heard (that has to be complete bullshit) is that the only reason we breathe is to get carbon dioxide out of our bodies. So I would also like to see a *LONG* video about rumors (both true and false) that persist in the medical world. Another one (that could have merit) is that when we yawn, it could mean that we're low of oxygen.
Rumors and slang. Those are two videos I would *LOVE* to see you make!

So him singing better while laying on his back is accurate to an extent. Like he explained, the position takes weight off his diaphragm. When you sing something in a opera style, you typically use the diaphragm muscles to better project your voice, while not putting as much of the strain on your vocal chords. It's the same principal of being able to breathe better sitting upright, rather than slouching.

I went to Saint Luke's in New Bedford feeling really sick and passed out in the parking lot and woke up 5 days later at Boston Medical Center, I had a bad MRSA blood infection from IV drug use that lead to endocarditis, septic arthritis in almost all my joints, 5 bad strokes multiple brain cysts with a 3 month stay in the ICU, I left with a line in my arm so I could give myself daily injections of Vancomycin for 6 months after I left Boston with 8 week of oral antibiotics after that, and having my mitral valve replaced a year after that, I'm 3 years clean and sober and lucky to be alive, Boston Medical Center is the best hospital (in my opinion) in Massachusetts

Now the "ether dome" isn't for non-medical people, but in the 19th and earlier centuries, non-medical (and paying) people were definitely invited. (I'm thinking UK here.) I can imagine it not only helped with medical funding, but also slowly raised an air of legitimacy to an increasingly scientific evolution of medicine.
