Quick backstory, my right kidney was removed at 1 year old since it wasn't growing, other kidney failed at 22. I was in dialysis for 6 and a half years. At first I would read or watch tv, often getting food delivered since my appetite increased. Eventually though, I was no longer able to stay awake during treatments. I'm much better now that I have a transplant but it won't last forever and I'm not looking forward to going back to dialysis, but that's life. Very funny video, love the reactions

What I like about Dr Hartman is that he’s like the worst family and medicine doctor but he’s also a specialist in everything and can perform any kind of surgery.
9:30 this is true. When I was 26 I was inpatient for 3 weeks or so and down stairs, they had a therapy golden retriever that would visit the children and I requested it and was able to pet it. It was cute and quite therapuetical
Dr. Hartman: *coughs and shows a tip jar* Lois: ...oh for God's sake. Dr. Hartman: look, do you have any idea how expensive medical school is? Lois: no i dont. Dr. Hartman: well neither do I but it's probably pretty expensive.
With all the imaging technologies (ultrasound, CAT, MRI, etc) I'm sure there are other ways. But since it's accessible I'm sure a digital exam will always be cheaper than a machine.
Hey doctor, I'd like to say hi to you from Russia! And I love how you're getting more and more funny with each video, but also serious enough to talk about a topic. You're a pretty cool dude, and even though I watched your reaction to "happy forest friends" back when I was a kid and it left me traumatized, I still keep watching you! And yeah, if you have any questions about Russia and about Russian people, ask away, I'll be happy to answer^^.
This is great, but I really want to know if Doctor ER has ever turned to a patient in sudden black-and-white coloring and said in a slowed-down voice, 'RELAX, I'M A DOCTOR.... MWAAHAHAHAHA!'
I SO badly want Dr.Mike make a guest appearance on Family guy and see him punch Dr.Hartman and give the Griffins actual good medical care that would be an awesome episode
I remember when my dad had to have a detached retina repaired. He went in for his pre surgery appointment and the Doctor told him they had to take his eyeball out to fix it. He yelled YUCK! and took off out the door with the Doctor running after him saying Come on, I don't have time for this!
i honestly think dr. wagner has singlehandedly removed any and all fear of the doctor in any scenario. i am now completely confident that my doctor has no intention aside from helping me feel better.
Had a hodkin lymphoma when I was 13. Great doctors at childhospital in zurich at that time and the nurses where super friendly. I always felt like even as a 13 yo they made great efforts so that I would understand the situation and the treatment as good as possible (no idea how it is now, 12 years later, but I think the are still good).
Doctor Wagner, serious question. I know it’s not for a while yet but I’m scared to get a prostate exam when I’m at the age. I’m 24 years old right now. And I know it’s irrational but I’d like to know, is there a less invasive way to get a prostate exam?
55:48 When I was a kid I hit a rock on my bike that caused me to crash. Ended up breaking my left wrist, buckle fracturing my left radius, and bruised my right foot so bad couldn't wear a shoe for two weeks.
7:45 Somewhere in Asia, they are making a robotic exoskeleton that connects to the legs. Giving people a chance to walk again sort of just with help by robotics. I forgot which country is doing it. But it seems like a good thing.
I had a back door in my house that was partially made of glass and one day, I closed the door and the glass shattered and cut my hand. Luckily, I didn't need stitches or lose any fingers. I have a scar though.

Look, for example my entire family household got sick with the cold and I was around them a lot, and I didn’t get sick. Once the last time I got sick with the cold, my body managed to fight it off within three days incredibly fast.

Dr. ER, legitimate medical question: How do I gain weight? I weigh less than 120lbs and I can't seem to gain weight. I'm constantly consuming protein (Vegetarian).
I feel Peter about the prostate exam 😩I was 32yo when I first got my prostate checked. I went to see a Urologist due to frequent urination. It’s really quite uncomfortable of an exam 🥴
I had hiccups one time when i was a child and they tried several things in the ER after 6 hours they gave me a muscle relaxer shot. I went to sleep and when i woke up they were gone
The only benefit I could even see consuming alcohol having is maybe if it's really strong like 80% alcohol a small amount it could disinfect your stomach but I highly doubt it would actually work that way
I am glad that they do not have to do a digital prostate exam, anymore (unless the blood test shows something). I was really kinda dreading my 40 year physical, for that reason.
Don't forget to watch till the very end for good luck! 😎
