I wished we saw more of the Tusken slaughter in attack of the clones. I think that's when we saw the first glimpses of Darth Vader come out.
It’s not the only secret Anakin kept from Obi-Wan. He was also secretly married to Padme, but yet told Jedi Master Halcyon, when first they met. Who was also secretly married and had a family.
I enjoy hearing these stories about the characters, you do an amazing job telling these stories from the Star Wars lore.
Maybe it's just me, but isn't it obvious why Anakin didn't tell this to Obi-Wan? He would have had to tell the Jedi Council, which would have led to Anakin being punished, held back, kicked out of the Jedi Order, and/or possibly imprisoned.

This was really interesting.
Kenobi really didn't understand a lot because he hadn't grown up on Tatooine and hadn't seen those terrible conditions, slavery, and criminal gangs, among others. How on the one hand the planet was haunted by Jabba the Hutt's organization and on the other by the Tuscan raiders with their cruel rituals. In such an environment, people grow up learning to survive. It was right to kill everyone to ensure the safety of others. If the raiders hurt other people's mothers, then they themselves must be prepared for the consequences. And of those children who grew up in such a nation, it is unlikely that normal people would have grown up who would have departed from the traditions of their people. At least the farms were safer that way. And you don't wish the fate of Anakin's mother on anyone. Anakin shouldn't have told Padma about this at all, or about her trip to Mustafar, so that she wouldn't put herself in danger in such a difficult situation.
I know this continues and wow does Qui-Gon expose a lot of Jedi rot from Obi-Wan. Once Obi-Wan figures it out, he definitely changes his mentality
