Hey my mechanic husband said sway bar is not necessary at all for your adventures, it’s actually better to. We enjoy watching your adventures. Thankyou for sharing 💯🙌🥰🍻✌🏼✌🏼
What an adventure for a little kid. You guys are rocking, what a team! Working backwards through your video adventures, lol. Was at Mataranka maybe 2011/12 and you guys brought back some great memories! Onward, love your content :)
Gotta love a good Kombi! When I was a kid (40 yrs ago!, Dammit!) and we moved to Alice, we went to Palm Valley in dad's Landcruiser, his first off road foray. He was so proud as he finally picked his way along the rocky, sandy track into the valley, still in low range. we went round a bend near the campsite, and their was a Kombi parked up under a tree!
You guys rock. Love the banter. I lived for a year in Kununurra many moons ago and have to agree with you Karstan, freshies are just "Labrador's of the river"....🤣🤣🤣🤣. Keep up the great content.
righto just found your channel yesterday and have now binge watched your entire back catalogue.. my wife and I have just retired and we are now planning on hitting the road. We promise not to be one of those 'snobby grey nomads' though. Hoping to see you on the road someday in some remote part of this beautiful land.
Hey 👋🏼 so glad you found us!! Thanks for following along... we’ll have a new UA-cam ep for you every week 😄!!! Bet you can’t wait to hit the road... where are you heading first??
@@KarstanAndMaxine Heading to Uluru from North Queensland (Townsville), from there either Darwin or Adelaide.. we'll decide once we get there, like you guys, we have all the time in the world now.
Awesome video guys!!! When we went through Limmen NP in our Sprinter the road was terrible :D No graders to be seen. Lorella Springs looked amazing (it was closed when we were there) but we did the Southern Lost City which was pretty cool :)
We went to Lorrela Springs, Tomato Island and Roper Bar this time last year and when we pulled up it looked closed too but it was open, the temperature is perfect in June/July. It’s a journey for sure but beautiful country.
I found you guys the other week and have been binge watching your videos and couldn’t figure out why you both seemed to familiar! The Block! Loving your adventures, you guys are awesome and have a true passion! Thank you for sharing a little with us all!

Another great video experience and is certainly non stop and interesting. I think you would give the Bush Mechanics a run for their money. Safe travels

Haha yeah never thort of that .. but in saying that we didn’t pass any on the whole trip and they would have slowed to a near stop to enter .. calculated risk .. as always haha
@@KarstanAndMaxine . Slowed at the top? Yes and no ; but many road train drivers already know the crossing and are often more concerned with getting up the other side . It's a strange feeling when the prime mover is pointing down hill yet the driver is still dropping gears to drag the last trailer up and over . Backing off = all over. Maybe you could hitch a ride in a triple stock road train (stocky) someday to share some of the dramas and challengers they need to over come on the real bush roads (tracks) that most 4wd drivers seem to have to have all mods and gear to travel along these days . Like I said; you 3 are a real breath of off road fresh air amongst all the online BS . :)

Still cutting 2 foot deap drains across the road ?? love it.
Hi guys, Were you in the Newcastle NSW area some weeks or months back? I recall a similar Kombi, maybe in the Bunnings , Bennetts Green carpark I think? I'm guessing doing the Cape in a short wheel base Toyota Coaster Camper is a bit of an ask? Shaped like a big Kombi but that is as similar as it gets. Safe travels.

It's things like that petrol leak and the associated fire risk, that you should have a bug out bag prepared for. A bag that everyone knows the location of, and that you can grab in a hurry if you have to exit the vehicle in an emergency. It should be packed with something to shelter under, a phone and/or a radio, a first aid kit, stuff to get a camp firer going, a torch, and enough food and water for at least a day or two.
For those lazy bastards out there and foreign types any chance starting with a rough map guide of where your heading, Great show by the way. Addictive. Cant beleive the distances you cover, there again im from UK, so 50 km to us is an epic adventure. Keep the episodes rolling. xxxx
