Definitely found Luke first when I was around 16-17ish and tbh he was one of the biggest inspirations/influences for why I started playing drums to begin with

Jason Richardson. Born Of Osiris just came out with their first EP on Myspace back in 2003 when I was in high school and I fell in love with that band very early on, he was one of the guitarists. Speaking of BoO, their drummer Cameron Losch is really good and I'd definitely recommend one of his playthroughs like Abstract Art.

Ok so to truly give Luke Holland a good look, checkout his "Tendinitis" drum playthrough video. He's been a youtube drummer for some time and plays with alot of people. He's done 2 albums with Jason Richardson. Also the "Tendinitis" video with Jason is INSANE!!! Jason rights everything that is going on that isn't drums. Luke's remake playthrough of "Cinema" is awesome too!! Both of these guys are immensely talented!!

I discovered Jason first, and that comes with a recommendation: I first saw him as a guest soloist on a Polyphia song called Aviator. It's in their older style, much closer to metal than what they make now, but still contains some incredible chops. Jason's solo is one of the most incredible solos I've ever heard, which is saying something! I'd like to see your take on Aviator!

I've been following Luke Holland for like 10 years now (crazy its been that long). Dude is the real deal. IIRC he also comes from a drum line background and is a master at spreading his rudiments all around the kit. Him and Clay Aeschliman collabed on a few songs for the new Polyphia album. Seeing the difference between his and Clays playthrough of Neurotica is super fascinating.
Jason and Luke have been a duo for a while now. Creating some crazy stuff. Their latest 2 songs p00mbachu and sparrow are nuts

Hey Tony, just gotta say I love your reactions to all the instrumental metal stuff. I wholeheartedly agree that more people need to be exposed to this wonderful genre.
One song I think you should check out is "Epiphany" by Intervals. I truly believe this song to be a masterpiece in the prog instrumental space.
I usually refrain from watching reactions since some seem fake but yours feel genuine. I would love to hear your thoughts on Hajime no Ippo op 3, Gungrave Op and Megalobox Nomad Op. All three of them are instrumental and I really like them.

You should definitely check out Luke Hollands remix of Cinema on his channel, he’s uploaded the song twice half a decade apart, I’d recommend listening to the newer version.
