It is just AMAZING to see how some of the ancient Egyptian language's words made its way, through thousands of years, through Egypt today's language!!! Despite the fact that Egyptians now speak Arabic...Like the words "iw" => which we call it now => "iywa" meaning "yes" or "I agree"! or the word "wbn" => "weban" meaning "appears"!...or the word "khd" => "khad" meaning "sailing"!
    I am just baffled!
As an Egyptian, I am really proud of you :)
    Keep up the WONDERFUL work

I am living in the USA and have great interest in learning the "ntr mdw". I read several book for egyptologists like Dr. Abd El-Halim Noor el Deen and other books and somehow I get lost very easy in the depth of the language and reading the Hyrogliphs. I listened to your first three lectures on UA-cam, you are a great teacher and your pace is very convenient for "old people" to follow. I like your teaching style and I hope that you continue to add more videos to the series. The best part of the videos from learning sand point are the homework assignments and your answers and explanations. I hope that you continue to make these informative videos. I know it takes a lot of time to prepare such great lectures, and you got your own life to live and enjoy, but if it is not too much work for you until you have the next lecture (4), I wish that you send short videos with homework assignments and their answers. Learning to read and understand any language requires practice and for us who are away from the homeland "Kemt" our only chance to learn is to do homework. Thank you for your great efforts and Wish you the best.

The deletion or omission of the verb "to be" and the indefinite article is also occurring in English. They say "I'm a teacher" where the word "a" is also weak, so you get "I teacher" and this compares to Semitic languages like Arabian or Egyptian. This is different from Germanic languages.

Hieroglyphs language was way before Arab language! For you to know how the people of KMT talked! As always said there was no vowels in KMT times!

Thank you for sharing knowledge. I think you should stick strictly to the translated sound, instead of giving the sound based on today's Arabic sound. Ex: iw (eyo) not (aiwo). Language is always dynamic, hence today's sound of a word may vary in centuries or millinium. So to stay scientifically correct, we must say as it was said then, not how we say it today. Other than that, good job.

The Greeks came in 325 BCE and named that Egypt and Africa so there’s nothing like ancient Egyptian language. Before the Greeks the continent was called Abyssinia So appropriately it should be called Abyssinian writing and language

Hello Mohamed, Would you please recommend any material online or book about hieroglyphic cursive or/and hieratic writing ? I looked on many pictures of some books of the dead and could figure out few shapes comparing to original hieroglyphs, but those are only few able to recognise.

how did you know that 'to listen' needs a preposition, just like in english?
or did you simply translate the verb literally?

so basically you have to know the title of the pharaoh to know where to start within the hieroglyphs...

Ancient Sumerian Language (Cuneiform) not Arabic, Ancient Sumerian Cuneiform and Ancient Tamil (Jaffna Tamil) was Similar, Ex / Egyptian Presidents ( Ex -Nassar/ Asad) want to about Tamil, ( I don’t want to talk Political), for Example Sumerian Alphabet-(N) + //= Ner /Water +// Kanal/ Kal Wa ,= That means The water go through the Kanal ( English),
    (E)+ (N) +// = E/ Ella /End, + N/Ner/ Water + //-Kal wa/ Kanal,( Sum+ Tam + English, ),= This Water (N) go through (//) up to end of the land(E),
Sumerian called the god as -( An /An da ) , Tam calling the god as ( Anda வா) ,
Mayan called as -( Kula Khan). Tamil still calling the god as -(Kula Kada veil = Kulu Khan),= Family god ( English), So 50% Sumerian Cuneiform in Mayan Logographic. And 80% Sumerian Cuneiform/ Hieroglyphics in Ceylon Tamil-, also Sumerian gods-( Nun),.= ( Nan/ Tamil), or (isrs )= Iravi/ Tamil, dog god, = Tamils also had ( y Ra war)
