I discovered the balloon auto tracker by myself and i'm proud of it goddamit
But that free dung one blew my mind, always thought that popo was there only for show
The ballon one was a mind blow. Thanks my friend
Don't inow if it helps but I'll dump some knowledge here
-Elemental shots (except fire) also bahave like pierce 1
-Pellet shots are great for Kirin (head) and Diablos (tail)
-Normal 3 is worthless
-green to blue is the biggest damage bost in sharpness followed by white to purple, blue to white is negligible
-Long attacks still only hit once, if you block, they won't affect you anymore even if the animation's still playing
-th3 merchant gramma near the gattering hall has eventual sales where everything is half price
-dont use dung for crops, by worms on sale from gramma
-hitting the bug tree with white hammer is an easy source of flashbugs
-talking to your chefs after quest bosts their exp gain
-Training school quests count as full quests
Funny story, found out waving at the balloon trick on accident as a kid having fun just waving at the balloon as a joke. Blew my mind at the time and still does to this day.

I still believe this got to be one of the best mh games ever. When hr level really meant something n was hard to obtain. No facy moves or flying with insects. Straight brutal hunting

After like 700 hours messing around I'm suprised I never figured out some of these
I only knew about waving at the balloons
Glad to see recent content on such an old gem. I don't know if this counts but a very helpful tip for me was investing in the Tranquilizing Whiz skill to know when a monster is ready to be captured. You can easily gem any armor set with Perceive Jewels once you get access to hypnoc quests as well. Such an all purpose and convenient skill to cut time imo

I did most of it by accidental , esp the sonic bomb where I miss timing because the goddamn fish was about to go the water I though he would jump at the time and I throw sonic bombs but he did stop. The only thing I dont know is the balloon thing it made sense since those are scouts

In order to calculate the bow's damage, should I calculate it like it was a melee weapon and MULTIPLY the damage per arrow that actually impacts the monster?

If you mean "psychic" try to get 15pts then you will always see monster icon on map
