Fat Dog - “7/4 (Closer to God)” Live - Electric Brixton - 18/04/2024

With only two singles out to-date, Fat Dog continue their seemingly unstoppable rise, successfully chalking off another sell-out show, this time their biggest show to date (I believe) at the Brixton Electric. It’s dance, its punk, its techno, with a hint of arabesque, they’ve hit on something immediate and unique, seemingly generating a flood of dopamine in the audience (certainly in me), every song sounding epic - even when they’re singing about slugs!

Brilliant gig......first time I'd seen them and certainly won't be the last. This is a band that like Cardiacs occupy a very unique space between many genres.
