    Thank you so much! PTs have been completely useless at helping me with a hamstring adhesion I've had for 10 years. Nothing had ever helped except for this!

    Yes, thats really underappreciated. Today I've discovered this very point on the same muscle, (called Semimembranosus as far as i could understand). I have tremedous relief with warmth going over all over my body. Thank you for posting this, man!

    You mention adhesions and then say knots, I have adhesions from trauma in my intercostals (no knots). Would a lacrosse ball with pressure and movement like this be my best bet?

    • @OcraMedHealth
      @OcraMedHealth  2 роки тому +2

      Knots is just a layman's term for fascial adhesions. The spikey ball is best to use.

    Will this be appropriate for scar tissue from a pre-existing injury?

    • @OcraMedHealth
      @OcraMedHealth  3 роки тому

      Yes, pre-existing injuries create scar tissue that needs to be broken up.

    Question so I have a knot in my right hamstring for over 4 years considering I tore it and never recovered. Doc said stretch it 10 times a day at 90 degree angle and it will go away but how long would I have to do this and if I stopped would it come back?

    • @OcraMedHealth
      @OcraMedHealth  3 роки тому +4

      The fascial release work is more important than the stretching if you have some adhesions in the muscle. Stretching will often aggravate the injury. Check out some more recent videos I have done on the hamstrings. Good luck!

      @@OcraMedHealth thanks, link to other videos? I’ve noticed massaging with lacrosse ball helps reduce adhesive but my question is how long would I have to do this until the hamstring fully comes back together, would I have to continue doing this for life?
