I am in IT sector for past 12 years...Something that I have learned...you should know how say No to your Boss when he gives unrealistic timelines...Even that means lower performance ratings...Otherwise you will struggle a lot...I have seen many guys leaving the company due Bad Managers...In Early years of my career , in a company I was working...there it was culture that if you are leaving by 7 pm means it was very early...9pm and 10 pm was Normal..many ppl worked till 2 am or 3am. and then it was expected that you come to office by 10 am -11 am...Health and family are very important in life apart from ur work..we should remember that...

In corporates, managers/team leads ( both male & female) go for hourly smoking breaks outside office. In 9 hours they all take 9-10 breaks of atleast 25 minutes each. 9X25= 225 minutes smoking break per day. 1125 minutes smoking brake in 5 days. The time spent on gossiping & boss's balls licking is not included in this calculation.

Never work 70 hours for body shop companies. There is no pride in that, if you work for 70 hours make sure it is for building something not for some client sitting in US/Europe. Do not accept 2 lakh offer for even 8 hr/day job. It is slavery, not job.

I am in IT sector for past 12 years...Something that I have learned...you should know how say No to your Boss when he gives unrealistic timelines...Even that means lower performance ratings...Otherwise you will struggle a lot...I have seen many guys leaving the company due Bad Managers...In Early years of my career , in a company I was working...there it was culture that if you are leaving by 7 pm means it was very early...9pm and 10 pm was Normal..many ppl worked till 2 am or 3am. and then it was expected that you come to office by 10 am -11 am...Health and family are very important in life apart from ur work..we should remember that...

8 working hours a day is enough for an individual. We are responsible for our & our loved ones life. Hence, we all should be prepared to take the required decision when needed.

Name them, shame them....post their pics, address so as to make them pay for their crime, guilt ....if senior management doesn't sack those offenders...it should certainly be construed as their complicity involvment in this crime

Very toxic working culture, bahut ghatiya hai, maine 12 saal kaam karne ke baad chhod diya, 40 saal ki age cross karne ke baad corporate me survival aur bhi mushkil ho jata hai
In corporates, managers/team leads ( both male & female) go for hourly smoking breaks outside office. In 9 hours they all take 9-10 breaks of atleast 25 minutes each. 9X25= 225 minutes smoking break per day. 1125 minutes smoking brake in 5 days. The time spent on gossiping & boss's balls licking is not included in this calculation.

Never work 70 hours for body shop companies. There is no pride in that, if you work for 70 hours make sure it is for building something not for some client sitting in US/Europe. Do not accept 2 lakh offer for even 8 hr/day job. It is slavery, not job.

Sir everything starts from childhood, we are taught obedience from beginning. Not to question anyone and anything higher to our hierarchy,years of conditioning. And We think only getting a job and getting a good boss will save any individual!! For this we need change from our childhood.

I totally feel her situations since my 5 yrs of toxic corporate culture but I am lucky now that I had controlled on my mind and took long leave from my work and staying in my village for mental peace. But at one side I helped myself then at other side I also created problem for me because i belong from middle class family , where all these thinking won't listen or understand until there child won't gonna do some suicidal steps. Till now I still mentally fought n get pressurized from my family n relatives to get back on work but i keep ignore them n working on my mental peace.
Pray for me , let see how long I m gonna bear them or handle them 😅😅😢😢❤❤.

It was most unfortunate that someone as young as Anna had to pay with her life for some un- feeling, inhuman manager who couldn't care less. Today we have corporate Zars for whom employees are just like slaves. With so few jobs available every one has to work extended hours and not say a word. Thanks to Mr. Narayan Murthy, all should be happy to be helping the "Nation Building".
