To your initial question: while growing up in the mid-80s, whenever we played pick-up football games outside and someone a touchdown pass, we'd say "...and Montana to Rice for the score!", as if we were calling the game on TV. Thanks for the great content, open-minded approach, and respectful attitude. I would only suggest, in order to help this deserving channel gain more subscribers, that you DON'T worry about stopping the vid at transitional moments in the story (rather than talking over the narrator, which causes you to miss some info). Hope that helps! Great job, mate!
Thank you scissors for the kind words, the awesome memories, and kind criticism, I am better now than I used to be, I just gotta remember pausing is ok 😂 I'm glad you enjoyed
I'm old enough to have seen his whole career, from start to finish, and frankly it insults me when I hear anyone even compare another WR to Jerry Rice, including Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson, two GREAT WR's in their own right, but nobody ... NO-BODY!!! compares to Jerry Rice. Jerry is not only the GOAT at WR, he's arguably the GREATEST player to ever play the game of American football, REGARDLESS OF POSITION. IMO Lawrence Taylor is his only competition in that debate, maybe Deacon Jones too, but Deacon was before my time.
LT Was something SPECTACULAR, Jerry though....was just in a whole different league, that people are trying to ascend to every year 😂 thank you watching 2gun, glad you enjoyed
Here is what I will say about Jerry Rice…….It took Randy Moss 16 games to break Jerry Rice season TD record with 25……Jerry Rice had 23 TD’s in 12 games (that season was short due to a player strike) take that as a deep thought. yes they talked about it but in a stat driven world that one stat is the craziest in my mind
It certainly seems like A LOT of people are missing the older more physical style of play....and I get it, injuries, but player these days are so so so better looked after, have better diets, trainers, recovery....they could be a liiiittle bit more lenient on the rules, some of the calls these days are shocking 😂
Grew up a 49ers fan. Saw his whole career. Jerry is the GOAT I love him
Thank you for answering! Glad you enjoyed
Same here! His is the undisputed GOAT of receivers!
In 2010, he was voted #1 in the NFL Greatest Players of all time.
Welcome back Pak! Do you think he could still be regarded at #1 now?
Y@@ExploringTheSmoke Yes.
@@pushpak it goes to show he was a GENERATIONAL talent
Best player in Seahawks history!
Also possibly THE Best player in history according to the NFL too 😂
@@ExploringTheSmoke Tom Brady is the Goat. And I hate me some Tom Brady.
@@ThePelagicHermit Brady was something spectacular

IMAGINE IF HE HAD 17 GAMES LIKE THE MODERN ERA 😭😭😭 guy is an absolute beast
For me, J Jefferson is his clone.
@@rabahlaggoune1779 he's certainly showing a lot of characteristics 💪🏻💪🏻
Jack, simply put 80s NFL football was the best.
