I should say, the EQ on the pickup is set to flat- not the best sound but if you take some time to set up the EQ, boost the bass and treble and cut the minds, it sounds pretty good 👍🏻
I have one. I bought it as my large hands and now arthritic fingers need a wider neck. It's hard to get a 48mm neck. I love it and hate it though. The neck and finger/fretboard are fine for me and the sound is lovely. But i just can't get to grips, literally, with the shape. It doesn't have flat sides so it slips off the knee/thigh and the bowl back wants to turn upwards on my bowl tummy (like two footballs pressed together). Worth considering if you're thinking of buying any bowl back guitar....
@SurferDude001 yes the slipping off the knee is very annoying! I always use a strap now when playing this one and it does help. My latest UA-cam video features this guitar. Check it out👍🏻
Great review thanks. I had a similar budget model, albeit with steel strings. I replaced the steel strings with Fender ball end nylons and it was really nice. The tuner on the pickup showed "B#" for some reason .
I did the opposite a bit back. I took a Godin nylon and put steel strings on it. I got some luthier advice on it ahead of time and was assured it was safe. I ran 10's on it. I was told if I wanted to go with 12's I could put a jazz tail piece on the end to bear some of the weight. It played great and sounded good through the house pa as a steel string. and it sounded good through my Roland 13 pin stuff with steel strings as opposed to nylon.
Sounds OK for the price.

B#? How strange!

@@prophetsofpraise5206 Yeah good to experiment and get some new sounds
Just a bit 🤣@@bobdavidbell
Oh brilliant. I'm glad that worked out ok. I'd have been petrified to try that 😁😁@@prophetsofpraise5206
I always have a loaded 6 string on the back of my Hadley Davishodt motorcycle.
That sounds pretty good through my Koss headphones.
I'm predisposed to like it, I guess, because I'm a huge fan of the HBO-600 roundback instruments.
