Thank you very much for this quick and easy to follow video 💜 I received Fennel and had never used it, let alone eaten it, and I'm always up to try just about anything once. So I made this as per your instructions, and made brown basmati rice on the side and tossed chopped smoked salmon in the pan next to the fennel just to heat it up ~ it was Delicious! The strong fennel smell was quite subdued and the flavours were fantastic together. Thanks again! Xo

I've been intrigued by fennel for some time and love aniseed flavour, but never really knew how to cook it or if all of it can be used/eaten. I'm definitely going to try this. I'm drinking fennel tea as I'm writing this! Thanks for your video.

I was very happy to see the first fennel recipe I clicked came from your garden. I have a couple growing, one is still small like your example. The other has started to get much taller, is the bulb going to still be tender enough?

Didn't recognize the vegetables someone gave me.. turns out to be fennel & this was the most compatible way to cook it and eat it (as far as the way I cook), so I will try it. it doesn't sound good that it tastes like licorice- crunchy licorice.. No suggestions what to eat it with; chicken tenders? or piece of steak? or pork chops? However thank you for a recipe I can actually try

More than a decade I have used roasted fennel seeds in dishes. Buying a bottle of fs I roast the entire bottle of seeds and return the roasted seeds to the bottle for use as needed. I don’t know why I have taken so long to buy a full stock of fennel but I did last night and today I will use it cooking marinated chicken breast en papillote with some fresh fennel that I will light sauté first.

I know that fennel grows in Italy and southern France, so it's probably somewhat sensitive to cold weather, or at least to long cold spells. I say that because it does get cold in those places, but not for too long.

Why would you not show how to chop it up? It has such an awkward shape that this is crucial to understanding how to prepare it.
