I grew up in Illinois, in the US and learned to swear despite growing up in a conservative household where I was told not to swear. I went to school for oceanography and in grad school and later as a tech, I went out on a boat for research. I swore so much when fighting with equipment and the boat captain complimented me saying that he loved my swearing like a sailor because I persisted while forcing equipment into submission. I had to figure out how to get a new piece of equipment that was third of its kind, very few documentation on operation, and I had to get it to work on a boat. Loved the work but it didn't pay well. Now I'm a data analyst, at least each project I work on is different and uses a lot of creativity.

Oh yes, sooooooooo lazy for wanting to make sure animals stay healthy without constant interference. I got those comments from people when I switched to round bales from square bales and daily tossing hay for a small goat/sheep herd. Yes, so lazy for wanting to make sure I didn't under feed when it's -20F or colder and they warm themselves with eating (my animals refused vehemently to go into anything closed in - the Icelandic sheep would sleep in the snow and even put their lambs on their backs which is stinking cute when we got spring snow.) I am using your channel to assuage my sheep cravings until I am at a point where I can add them back to my critters. I also should add - that is a pretty boy! He stands out with those wethers.

I have dreams of being the first Australian White breeder in my area in the States, and there just isn't a whole lot of content that I'm finding on them. I grew up in Illinois, in the US and learned to swear despite growing up in a conservative household where I was told not to swear. I went to school for oceanography and in grad school and later as a tech, I went out on a boat for research. I swore so much when fighting with equipment and the boat captain complimented me saying that he loved my swearing like a sailor because I persisted while forcing equipment into submission. I had to figure out how to get a new piece of equipment that was third of its kind, very few documentation on operation, and I had to get it to work on a boat. Loved the work but it didn't pay well. Now I'm a data analyst, at least each project I work on is different and uses a lot of creativity.

Oh yes, sooooooooo lazy for wanting to make sure animals stay healthy without constant interference. I got those comments from people when I switched to round bales from square bales and daily tossing hay for a small goat/sheep herd. Yes, so lazy for wanting to make sure I didn't under feed when it's -20F or colder and they warm themselves with eating (my animals refused vehemently to go into anything closed in - the Icelandic sheep would sleep in the snow and even put their lambs on their backs which is stinking cute when we got spring snow.) I am using your channel to assuage my sheep cravings until I am at a point where I can add them back to my critters.
I also should add - that is a pretty boy! He stands out with those wethers.

I have dreams of being the first Australian White breeder in my area in the States, and there just isn't a whole lot of content that I'm finding on them. One girl in Kansas is starting her Ausi white flock with embryo transfer and a breed up program with an Australian White Ram, and she is doing a great job documenting her journey on her channel, but it's nice to get more people on UA-cam sharing their experiences with them.
