Paper tune your bow at a few different distances. I'm willing to bet you will show a nock high tear that needs to be corrected.

Yeah you can visibly see that he's arrows pointed down. Definitely needs tuning but not too much.

Thanks for the research and info! I agree with a few other comments about tuning the bow. Theres no reason those fixed blades cant group with the field points. It could be cam timing, rest position, knock point, arrow spine or any combination. But the further the distance, the greater the delta. Good luck this year and keep the content coming!

Shooting the 1.5 sevr for the last two years! Love it killed my target buck with it last year no problem! Shoots exactly with my Feild point! I’m an expandable guy but in a fixed blade state I really like the four blade slick trick! However I do shoot a four vane arrow!

Bare shaft tune your bow. They all should group together with field points at that range.

I'm shooting QAD Exodus 100 gr.
Looks like you need to move your rest up. Start slow and just do small adjustments and it should bring the poi of your fixed blade BHs up to where your field points are hitting. Also makes your bow more forgiving if your rest is tuned correctly. Cheers and good luck this year 👍

Love the ole dead meat simply because it always shoots well. But the striker has always been my favorite. It’s deadly, reliable and I’ve never had much trouble getting them to fly with field points. G5 and prime =deadly combo

I am currently using the G5 Montec CS 100 grain heads, but recently won a 6 pack of the M3 100 grainers. I have shot the Strikers before and they're super sharp. I just tend to lose the replacement blades so I went with a solid head. My cousin loves the Deadmeat and has taken a few deer with them. Good luck out there this year, whatever you end up chasing.

If you are looking for a expandable and fixed check out REK Broadheads. Nice chisel point with the ability to shoot either from the same head! Fly very true and made all in the USA!!

I tried sevr a couple seasons ago and the accuracy is second to none but cutting a elk hide is hard and I had a bad experience with sevr so I switched to a fixed head. The last two seasons ive been shooting Afflictor k2 and I'm loving the bone crushing head and quick kills

I've never shot an elk with one, but Sevr is probably the only head I'll ever shoot for the rest of my life for deer. Just curious... Which one did you have bad luck with? I had less penetration with the 2.0 titanium when I shot a hog, but it was a shoulder shot at 50 yards, so I can't complain a lot. It was the only time I didn't get a complete pass through, but it was all the way across the body to the off side shoulder.

Me and Sarah had full pass through bro! 2.0 cut . My deer was Broadside. Her deer was quartered away entered in through the ribs and came out of the chest full pass through and she shoots on like 53 pounds or something

My favorite broadhead ever was the original muzzy 3 blade. As long as you tuned your bow with them anything will shoot This year I’m shooting reapers on my antelope hunt and will be the first year I have tried them so we will see. Probably shoot them for deer and elk If they do well. So far they are shooting lights out!

Just curious how the grim reaper did for you on your elk hunt. I just ordered a pack of the pro series 1 3/8" 3 blade heads. Hoping they are good for elk sized game as well as deer

I’m a big sevr guy and just switched last year to the annihilater 100 and had a pass thru one shoulder blade of elk (bad shot) but I’m fixed out to 65 and if need a follow up shot I will shoot my sevr 1.5 100 grain I carry both in my quiver and great video looks like you might need to rest tune ur bow for broad heads but a tad but good luck this year

You need to tune you're bow buddy. I promise. I'm not being rude. I've just been a bow technician for a long time an I've learned a bit along the way is all.
But anyways..I'm shooting g5 montec, oz cut hurricane and swacker out 80 yards and there grouping with field tips.
You had the oz cut hitting low left. It's a right hand single bevle and is meant to be used with a right hand helicoil fletch. Because of the amount of spin on that combo it's hitting just a couple inches right for me but that's at 80 yards. Because of spin drift..That ozcut design causes it to keep spinning as it's passing through animals wich means out of all them heads oz cut will keep a straight path even on sharp angles and instead of deflecting on bones where most heads would deflect..
As far as performance goes there the closest I've seen to Iron Will standards.
I'm not being a dick buddy. I'm just letting you know what I know to be fact..
Most if those fixed head you was using ,I've used and they shoot great through a well tuned bow.
For instance. Another fact my friend.
All those fixed heads was hitting low for you. So. That vapor trail rest of yours needs to come up. Probably just a 64th or 32nd of an inch.
Just follow you're field points. Whatever why they're hitting, just move you're rest in that direction.. as long as you're timing and tiller is fine it should tune up easily.

Great video and comparison, as already mentioned you're probably a smidgen knock point high ? I've always had problems with fix blades at high speeds planing on me. I shoot sevres and grim reapers , the sevrs really fly great and have huge wound channels.thx for sharing
