I have listened to this tune over and over for a long time... Now I come to realize why Dadaroma has became a top band in the nowadays scene. In a scene full of boring bands, all them abusing of the same djent clichés, Dadaroma created a true, unique, genuine blend of contemporary hardcore sound with the outstandingly dramatic dynamics and aesthetics of the visua-kei sound and image. I'm pretty sure "Oboreru sakana" will be considered a visual-kei cult classic in the future, just like Dir en grey's "Cage" or Malice Mizer's "Bel air" and many others.
I've been a fan of visual kei bands for the longest, like the gazette, nocturnal bloodlust, cløwd, nightmare, lynch, etc. And im just now getting into dadaroma WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG .😭😭😭
I'm almost certain this song is about not letting people tell you how to feel and what to do, do to the English romanji being oberu sakana (drowning fish) which is something a fish couldn't and wouldn't normally do. the lyrics include themes of freedom and acceptance. still happy that these guys don't fit the typical VISKAI theme. can't wait for there next EP!

I love how some of these japanese bands are starting to mix some metalcore elements into their songs. Goes to show that Visual Kei isn't dead yeat, and there still are people that like to innovate and do something different. Such an amazing band, they are pushing the VK movement forward in a time where many people think that it's gotten old and stale!

It's never anything long-lasting. I absolutely adore this band and that's one of my favorite musics. I love dadaroma so much.
A childhood friend who often played with me committed suicide I feel bad for him I can't even remember his name It hits hard... so I wanted to share this part there are so many people who don't get his message. It's sad. I hope they will open their eyes.
