Its still a very corrupt country
Might be a hot take but I personally think Manila can be a great mega city in the future once it figures out its transportation and energy issues.
Beautiful… looks like Miami! ❤ from your Indonesian cousin 😊
Thanks for visiting
Hi from London, there is a lot of changes in Metro Manila, I grew up in Q.C. during 60's to 80's I can see the old roads and highways are still in there and a lot added, there is a lot more sky scraper and the old sky scraper replace by new one, like in Ayala Ave. a lot of modern city had sprung up all over the Metro or added, the roads are pleasantly clean differ from what I remember and the trees are nice on the road, it's nice to see the good progress in the whole metro (Kapitolyo)😍These places even beats places in central London where I lived now, the flip side of the Philippines Nature/Beaches/Landscape etc. I don't think they can ever better in many places in the world for that matter, just the warm beach water alone will beats the odd, not many of them are near the equator to get what I'm saying. Many Thanks I had a great ride on your video.. Cheers.!!👍👌😉😎✌
I feel the same.
Unbelievable indeed😅

Mandaluyong City is now the place. I am glad I got me place there before prices went up the roof.
Yes I agree!
Manila looks amazing. Impressive. God bless the Philippines and Filipinos.

Far better than Mumbai skyline 😢
Our country is nothing bro in infrastructure 😢😢
You mean Chumbai 😂
i dont like India
Mumbai can't even compete with Colombo for better infra, cleanliness and orgsnised things
Manila, jakarta, Kuala Lumpur are far away things for it
@@pikachuthunderbolt3919 yh also colombo seems more similare to sea countries like vietnam, philipines and thailand for infrastructures in genral like roads and so on. The climate and landscape is also very similar to those countries in my opinon.
METRO MANILA THE BEAUTIFUL THE PHILIPPINES
MaypagkaTokyo Feels ‘yung Binondo area. Hopefully, mapaganda pa nila from street up. 😅
Sana nga eh. Ganda ding gawing tourist attractionkung nalinis at naimprove. Dadami ang business dyan.

I did not know Manila was like that. I’m impressed.
Thank you for visiting! :)
As long it's weekend or a major Holiday
Yes they only show squatters and slums which is today the government are relocating them in more safer place.
I just wondering why you forgot to include Filinvest City in Alabang, it's a nice business district in the saouth also has a lot of good resto, malls and Hugh rise building 😏

That is not the real Philippines 🙄
It looks like Miami, it's impressive and sad at the same time, impressive because these are nice areas for a developing country but also sad because the world is getting very standardized with places that all look the same with similar names, same shops and restaurant chains...
Thats just a tiny area compared to what the real philippines look like. Real philippines is the opposite of this.
@@gregmasters8558Lol what are you talking about? Obviously this part is good in the philippines is because its apart of the national capital region. Philippines are divided through municipalities, regions, provinces and barangays. We also have big cities OUTSIDE the national capital region such as cebu, iloilo, bacolod, davao, zamboanga city, laoag city, baguio city and many more. And of course there is gonna be downsides in our country. Every country has its downsides.
@@theuglyface3880 I know that princess I live in Rizal and it looks opposite of ncr. Infact majority of Philippines looks nothing like bgc.
@@gregmasters8558 it doesn't look like tondo either. unless thats what you want to tell people. and i live in the province too, but its nothing like what foreign media assume (i.e. philippines=100% slums). and NCR is just as Real Philippines as the province. You have to stop limiting your mind to just your area being 'real philippines' due to petitness or jealousy. 118 million Filipinos live here. All of our lives are different, all of our lives are authentic.
@@derbdep I don't understand where the overly sensitive Pinoy's are coming from. I am just stating a fact that 99 percent of the country does not look like bgc. Rizal supposed to be a wealthier province but it feels like living in the 70s.
Movin’ up🥰
Beautiful Manila
It really is!
Thank you for showing the best of Metro Manila.
Thank you too
Love from India 🇮🇳
Nice video, Eastwood city here, from New York city, but there are a lot of nice city areas in metro Manila. Makati looks awesome as always. I feel like Ortigas center is a little underrated though. Oh and I think that McKinley hill is one of those places that look very aesthetic, but if you go there there isn't really much to do outside of the mall and one street of food places. That said it had good proximity to Bonifacio global city if you're looking for some value when renting
Great video

lowkey impressed.... Manila looking fresh
After seeing the earthquake devastation of buildings in Taiwan makes me wonder how good these tall buildings are against that magnitude of 7.4 and besides how safe are those glass structures during a massive earthquake like what happened in San Francisco California, knowing Philippines is in the belt of earthquakes.
Our buildings are design to withstand eartquakes up to 8.5
Safer than buildings built since the 90s 🤭

Im a filipinoWe have also rubbish area in metro manila like local downtown but in metro manilas CBDs. Its really clean organize and has beatiful greenery. The problem in metro nanila, they have big slums but decreasing to rehabilitation, relocation and housing program. It takes time if only depend on govt effort.theres a bif progress if filipino billionares help the govt religiously.
This vid only showed you the financial and market districts of M. Manila, some parts of Metro Manila are still not very pleasant to look at, reasons being of poor urban planning of the past, poor traffic management, and spaghetti wires everywhere. Thankfully the current admin are beggining to fix all these problems, hopefully we see the full result at the end of his term.

If the color of the water of Pasig river become Turkis like Chicago river then it's done.
I wonder what would happen to all the office buildings in Makati and elsewhere in the Philippines whose primary market is the BPO sector once AI and Fintech becomes so pervasive and mature enough to eliminate so many jobs due to automation. I hope the developers have a plan B for such a scenario.
AI is still rubbish though 🤔
Not all office buildings have bpo companies. And bpo companies are not just in Metro Manila.
Surely, bpo industry here is also evolving. Not everyone answers calls anymore.

When was this video filmed?! Where are the people? Seems like a ghost town! In some cities like New York City for example, there are people walking around at any given time of the day. This video was nicely filmed though...
Filmed on a Sunday :)
@@ferwasthere So on Sundays, people there stay indoors???
Perhaps during COVID-19
@@mikecruz9226 On Ayala Avenue in Makati, Saturdays and Sundays are non-working days for some, leading to minimal foot traffic. This area is predominantly occupied by office buildings, with only a few residential buildings.

There are regions and provinces who are growing at a faster pace compared to metro manila
as if all of Vietnam is developed. dafaq
PH has extreme levels of inequality. The number people who live in these districts is very small compared to the general population.
That's true for all developing countries so what's your point?
Bro maybe you got it twisted. Manila is where all Filipinos go to look for work. That's what made it congested and dirty during the 1990s to 2000s. It just in the last 10yrs that the government spread out development. Metro Manila Population is 13 Million. Compared that to Sydney that only has 5Million population.
listen to PETE HELLER'S BIG LOVE 1999
you forgot the filinvest city
Where are the people doing the walking?
Too hot to walk outside from 10am to 3pm 🤭
Love from your father bangladesh. 🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
I don't know why so many Filipinos come to Pakistan for jobs. the Philippines is so much better than Pakistan we don't have a single developed city like Manila.
Manila is beautiful and clean ❤❤❤
The most annoying thing in Manila is that everywhere you go , people lining up 7 & Eleven, metro, supermarket, KFC, shopping Mall etc. They cant say that is American culture, American culture everything very efficient, productive and convenience.
You sure are smart enough to know the difference between US culture and US influence. 🤣
No one in their right mind would tell you that American Culture thrives in the Philippines, mah boy
@@exgeeinteractive You cant see your stupidity?
Why don't manila use local language or script
What is bigger, Greenfield District or Eastwood City?
Greenfield District :)
I would be more impressed if the old structures with history were preserved like in Europe.
Well the japs firebomb manila during WW2 almost all the historical buildings were destroyed
Intramuros was somewhat preserved. But some areas of Binondo didn’t 😓
This Video is not 4K ?
The video was shot in 4K resolution; however, the resolution you experience depends on your internet connection. :)

Well, it's debatable. If you go up on one of the high-rise buildings, look below and you will see all the poor people living in the vicinity.
If BGC and MakaTi want their area to look like 1st class city, invest some money to help and improve the poor communities.
THEY HAVE MONEY.
Patches of poor neighborhood areas persist everywhere in the world even here in the U.S. The city of San Francisco, L.A. , Boston, NYC, Dallas TX., Houston, TX., Miami, FL. and so on. You cannot hide the poor out of site because they do exist. I don't, know where you're from but I am sure you have poor neighborhood in your country as well.
@alaindelon611 The point is that big high rises buildings are centered "for your eyes only."
Like a mullet, to look so beautiful outside but rotten inside.
@@zzzzzsleeping , so you would rather have the slum dwellings on the front for everyone to see & the tall beautiful buildings at the back? Probably its best to critique your country first where ever your from because I'm sure there are things in your country that you don't want foreigners to know. Think about it.

Philippines
Can't you read?
Philippines has the very best part on the highest level, however, there’s also the very worst part on the lowest level which is the poor vs rich.
I would be more worried if you live in a first world country like America and there is the lowest of the low the rich vs poor which is the reality in the US as well. It is not only in the Philippines. You should compare the Philippines to other developing country or 3rd world countries and should count Your blessing. Many countries don’t have as stable a government as the Philippines; many other countries are in the middle of a civil war; their families are separated or worse dead. The Philippines is still bless in many ways
Ignorant !!!!
Inculcate in your mind that there is no place on earth occupied by rich people only.

I don’t why countries like Philippines just built some high buildings among the slams. You had better organized everything than spending money on this.
Slums were rid off gradually. They were relocated in some adjacent towns.but it takes time do you know some budiness districts here are former slum area.i think 2030 is different manila.
Even america struggling to homeless people.
