My vin starts with a 1 and I think my car is federal 2004 Honda accord ex sedan 2.4l v4 and built in USA which cat should I get to get rid of the p420 ? And how much should I spend on it or is it not worth it
Do you know what size the bolts are that you used between the cat and front pipe? Mine eroded so I won't be taking anything off in order to be able to check bolt fitting.
Thanks for making this video. I'm wanting to know any info you might have on the two triangle gaskets with 3 holes in them, the ones you called "big fat gasket." I've waited 2 months and all I received is a black rubber gasket and I need the two triangular ones that are used to connect the cat to the inlet and outlet. I bought the Walker Calcat direct-fit catalytic converter 82895. Thanks in advance
@@RBTheMechanic Yes please. Part number would be perfect. I live in Cali so my Honda Accord is a SULEV. I have already bought the wrong catalytic converter taken it to a shop where they put it on just to find out it was wrong. The new catalytic converter was sooo much more money because it had to be CARB compliant. So it arrived and now the new one arrived and I want to make sure that I have the gaskets that fit it. I was lucky enough that the thrives that stole my cat took the time to unscrew it instead of cutting the underside of my car up but I have to now pass my car through a referee before going to smog it.

Hi thank you for this video. My catalytic converter was stolen from my Honda Accord 2004. I wanted to ask you if you can give me the part number for a Walker Catalytic converter please. Thank you
Well I’m not in shop I can give the part number but u need to go by emission of ur vehicle there federal and cali so don’t put in wrong even if u have my part number this one was federal check all of my videos on this
Hey so first off thanks so much for making and posting this video. I used it to order all the parts I needed for about $200 and am saving myself about $650 trying to do it myself. My Honda is an 04 with 185k miles......would I just want to replace the whole rest of the exhaust/muffler with the walker replacement I got? I ordered a coupler to piece the parts together but since I have so many miles....wouldn't it probably be more prudent to just replace the rest of the exhaust/muffler with the one I ordered? It would save me the hassle of measuring, cutting, and using a coupler. Is the walker exhaust replacement just much cheaper metal or something?
Well depends on ur case how bad is the rear pipe mines looks so good I only had 70k miles it’s a shame they did this and I would have never changed the rear muffler pipe
Yea but if you spent 200$ on that cat and it’s not from Honda the p420 code will be back I replaced my whole exhaust and my engine light came back on because I paid 150$ for a cheap cat
