I’ve got an unrelated issue with our 2012 Acadia. The climate control and radio lights are out (the actual radio LCD and all climate functions still work). Also, the courtesy lights do not come on when pushing their buttons….buuuut the courtesy lights DO come on when I open the door or adjust the drivers master dome light switch to on. Assuming there’s a loose wire of fuse that feeds all three of these functions.

Does the blend door actuator also impact the strength of the vent? I just replaced the actuator on the driver's side because it was blowing hot. But I am still noticing that the at the air conditioning is loud but the air is weak. I am switching the cabin filter but I am wondering if changing the actuator will help with air flow?

What if it’s not even coming out of the bottom? No air is coming out from the front but it is coming out from the back. Do they have two separate blower motors? Or do you think it could be the knob that works the front?

Air doesn’t come out of any of the front vents at all. Floor, front facing, nor defrost vent. Is a bad actuator causing that? It works fine in the backseats.

Should the knob( where the actuator slides into) be hard to turn with your fingers. I’m curious if there is something in there making it harder for the actuator to work, I hear the flaps open and close but it is very difficult to turn it.

The actuator is very cheap and replacing it is very easy, this is 97% the cause of your issue. If you don’t want to buy it and want to make sure that’s your issue I guess you can swap it with another actuator, they are all the same part and are also located behind the glove compartment.
