Yes, this harness system can go over a treadmill. If the patient is in a regular manual wheelchair, it's possible to transfer the wheelchair onto the treadmill, and then assist the patient to stand to place the harness system around them.
This is a larger piece of equipment, so it's not readily available for home. There may be harness systems out in the market that are similar to this one in the video that I'm not aware of though. There are outpatient clinics that have this device available for use for treatment while undergoing physical therapy sessions.
@@sam-junegozo2865 Hi , I resently became a paraplegic and do know how I can get into place that offers help with working out on such equipment as this and more ?
@@speedracer1945 Hello! I'm sorry you recently had this life change, but I commend you for actively looking for a place to maintain your physical fitness! I would recommend checking with your primary care physician to get further recommendations for physical therapy as well as occupational therapy. Depending on where you are, there could be some neurologic clinics to assist with your needs. Physical and occupational therapists are trained to work with your diagnosis to help you reach your potential. Hope it helps, and good luck! Rooting for you!
Is it possible that I could get some assistance from you all please thanks
