I’m so ready for my Irish to run up in College Station and completely shut down the Aggies. They don’t realize just how elite our defense is!! Go Irish ☘️
I think this will be the best Notre Dame team of the Freeman era. And, by the end of the season, will be a dangerous team in the playoffs. That said, I just do not see them beating TAMU in the opener on the road. It is just a terrible scheduling matter for ND. New QB, new OTs -- with the added subtraction of the scheduled starter at LT -- it just adds up poorly for ND in the opener. Hope I'm wrong. But I also think that Mike Elko's intimate knowledge of Riley Leonard will tip advantage to the Aggies. Before it is said and done, ND will be a better team and higher ranked team than A&M, but come 8/31 ... I just don't think ND can pull that out. If ND does manage to escape College Station with a win -- ND goes into USC undefeated and ranked in the top 3 nationally.
Kyle Field and TAMU is the toughest game on the schedule. The D is top tier but so is Texas A&M. I’ll be at the game. Who else is making the trip? Weigman 19 TDs 2Ints
Looking forward to the game in College Station. I think A&M's best two units on their team are the DL and Secondary entering 2024. Offense has lots of question marks along the OL and at WR. I do think A&M is better at QB and RB in 2024. The x factor in this matchup is Mike Elko. He knows Notre Dame and he knows Riley Leonard. Should be a great game! DL - A&M Linebackers - ND Secondary - ND ST - ND OL - Both equally have lots of questions. A&M might be a little bit older at this position, but I'll go equal for now. QB - A&M RB - A&M WR - equal TE - I really don't know. I'll go equal Can't wait!
ND has J. Love and J. Price at RB, I'd say ND has that position too, equal at worst. Ruben Owens is good, but the depth at the RB position drops off after that for A&M. I'd say QB is a toss up as well
@@JustnNDTrollSniper Ruben Owens is actually the youngest and least proven at the position. A&M returns three guys that are all productive in their own way. This position is about depth. ND may have the better single guy, but I''ll still pick this group of three guys from A&M that can all play at a high level.
@@ajdean07 J. Price is the other ND RB I mentioned and he's definitely more than just a depth piece. Then we have two freshman Kedren Young, who was a top 5 RB commit, and Aneyas Williams, who's been showing out during camp. We have lots of depth at RB, DeLand McCullough has recruited that position as good as anyone.
@@ajdean07 I was just judging Owens as the best based on where I think his talent/ceiling is, but I honestly disagree, if depth is deciding factor I'm going with ND. They have 3 or 4 future NFL draft picks at RB, they just haven't had their chance to shine yet
Last year you said Hartman your quarterback transfer was going to take you to the next step...every year you talk crap.. why don't you prove something before you talk... the Irish is an average team that is to scared to play in a major conference... fact....your irrelevant untill you prove your worthy!!! Another 4 loss season... AVERAGE TEAM

A&M fan here, excited to see y’all in College Station, can’t wait for our defense to shut y’all down! Gig ‘Em
@@zachfisher9858Going to be low scoring, for sure. Any time I see anyone predict 34-31 or something, I think “casual”.

Leonard's quick game and legs are key don't need pocket
i think ND will have a sluggish 1st half but pulls it out 2nd qrt
Stay healthy ND please

A&M defense is very quality, but aside from their DL they ain’t all that.
I'll b3 there but ND is clearly better
going to a bar in town 😅

A&M will win this first game. Their defense will be better than Notre Dame.
😂
Is it your defense or ND’s giant question marks on offense?
@@mglaid1989 A&M will have an elite defense. It’s what Elko does.
@@nathansummerville3972 could be a combination. The Irish have major concerns on the OL, WR room, and even QB. Especially if he’s pressured.
