Here's a Message to All My UA-cam "HATERS" Out There Who Like To Spam My UA-cam Videos with Negative Hateful Comments:
"We're uploading great, fun, traditional, effective content that's purpose is to keep Traditional Chinese Martial Arts alive since Traditional Chinese Martial are currently dying! I have NEVER once advertised any of my videos! We have NEVER sponsored or put money toward any of our UA-cam videos. All our views, subscribers, and followers have found us organically on their own and our analytics say we have a 20 "Like" to 1 "Dislike" ratio! That's pretty good in my opinion! That means for every 2,000 people who watch our videos and hit "LIKE" only about 100 hit "DISLIKE". :) We get over 50,000 video views a Day and add 300 New Subscribers everyday!
We get TENS OF THOUSANDS of comments everyday on our videos and lessons here on UA-cam! There is NO WAY I can read or respond to them all. I reserve about 1 hour each day to answer UA-cam comments and I try to get to as many as I can! My wife Pam answers a couple hundred emails everyday from people who email us at www.JakeMace.com.
If you want to post your own videos about me on your channel then DO IT! I LOVE IT! If they're positive then that's great! If they're negative then that's great too! Live your life! My best!"

Put the techniques to use in something she can see right away.
I do fire twirling (Just started recently) and these Vids of Jakes are giving me ideas for some moves. If you get your niece started with maybe an LED staff, then it's something cool she can show off, and when she's older it's a trick she can choose to continue if she wishes.
But then again, you can go the self defense route with it too. Up to her really.

Mr. Mace I'm learning what you are teaching here not to learn martial arts but to get the upper body exercise. I thought about upper body exercise for a while; something one could do without weights but still get a quick and effective burn.
I also have a niece who is..."bouncy" in the tummy area. I want to impart this on her now (she is 9) so that she has a safe fall back for when she begins to care about her image.
I think its a good idea. Any drawbacks come to mind for this plan?

I'm having difficulty with this spin. When I keep my grip tight, the staff doesn't have enough space to arc. If I spin the staff so that it has enough arc, then my grip is loosened and the staff irritates my thumb knuckles. Is the staff supposed to connect with knuckles as it spins or is this just a flexibility issue?
