I always used to have manuals, but I bought a E90 330i auto about ten years ago and realised I loved it. Since then I had two F30 330d which are auto and they are just the most effortless drive imaginable. Unfortunately my 330d now has just developed engine trouble, but what I replace it with will be an auto.
I had to sell my 330d due to gf getting her licence so insurance is mad. We bought a 125d f21 2014 for 5700 with 107k miles. 8 speed auto, harman kardon (which i really wanted in my 330d and missed the good music from my audi a4 b8) . M sport, and those white LED headlights not the yellow xenons. Headlight washers too . Not a huge spec but it does the job. Remapped it to 270 bhp , good fuel economy, good music . We love it! Supposedly the 0-60 goes from 6 seconds to 5.4? I dont have a dragy to check
Hi mate I actually had a look at the I25d actually not bad little motors them bit different to so sound like to got a decent little motor there for the price to 👍
Really like the e93 always loved the overall shape of the e93 Has your dad gone for a g series I’m guessing a 330i Fell in love with new g series now, seen a few around in white and blue and they look fantastic with maxton splitters
Great video guys I've gone backwards to a E60 530i. From my f31 330d xdrive due to family commitments. Even though I loved my f31 the E60 straight 6 is great
Love an auto with a six pot. Just feels right. Lazy by default and lively when needed. It's also my (speculative) theory that the engine will have been better looked after on used ones cos the box keeps the revs in the sensible zone, which matters a lot when it's a cold engine. Or maybe I just kid myself it hasn't been owned by a nob ed.
Hi mate yeah I get what you’re saying there ..and yeah six cylinder autos are effortless..just so smooth and yeah second had market is always a gamble with previous owners that’s why I avoid private sale so I can analyse the previous owner 😂
This is partly why I went for an SE spec 330d (17" wheels, no M badges, standard bumpers, etc.)-I deduced the previous owner was a modest chap who didn't rag it. On 126k now and still runs sweet.
