Am guessing there’s a hidden issue with that car because i am sure he could get more selling privately. I just saw a cat s damage car with similar specs sell on co-part for 10k
Cap is not unique to the car mate I work for BMW in sales. It does not take into account the spec so don’t lie to your customer. Cap is based on the modal and engine and mileage. It does not take into account pan roof m sport plus pack ect

I agree, he's had his pants down, but to be fair all salesman are the same, whether main dealers or Arthur Daley. I used to buy all my cars from the auction, until they stopped joe public going, last year in the peak of prices I bought an older bmw from the bmw main dealer, paid £3000 over on a £11000 car, but the car warehouse places were the same prices, so I went for the bmw warranty. Two days before it expired the warning light came on, apparently the clutch and flywheel are severely damaged after 60k! My previous bmw did 200k with the same clutch, but the strange part, there's no clutch slip etc and it drives fine.
Just purchased a 330d m sport and its an unbelievable bit of kit

3 hour journey for a car is nothing, I’ve travelled 8-9 hours for several cars for a good deal. Nice car / content 👍
My F30 330d Xdrive had same problem with the centre caps starting to corrode, I had my wheels powder coated in BMW grey, which apparently is better than Diamond cut, because the corrision can come back easier. My Fuel consumption in town is 40 mpg and on a long run, 58 mpg 🙂

This chap seems really genuine and Jerome trapped him into travelling down, thinking there was some flex on the price. You had this gentleman’s pants well and truly round his ankles on this one. The cap isn’t unique to the car & you know this so why did you lie to him? You rarely find F31 330d with pro media, sunroof & comfort pack. Again, you know this. What a nice, simple guy , shafted by ANOTHER dodgy trader.

Nice car,but no reverse camera on a 47k plus car is a no no for me.
if you to need to rely on a reverse camera, you probably need to re take your driving test.
No 360° cameras or 6WB display either.
Reverse cameras are just not needed. Know how wide your car is and how long it is. Its called spatial awareness.
@MarcBirks it's not about parking assistance. Rev cams are really helpful when reversing out of spaces and round corners as they have you a wider fov then you would ever be able to see. I too would never buy a car without one.

I have a 2017 335D XDrive and it is the best car i have owned. 0 - 60 4.8 seconds.
My RS4 Avant did 0 -60 in 4.6 seconds and the BMW doesn’t rape my bank account for parts & servicing.
That's amazing. Must be a lot cheaper on fuel too than the RS4.

Got an F30 and they're brilliant all rounders. Most comfortable car I've ever owned. Drive non stop from Dorset to Liverpool in four or five hours and get out fresh as a daisy. No other car I've owned has managed that. Also being a lowly 318d it gets above 60 mpg on long hauls... I think this car was worth more than £13250...
He would probably be better with a long wheelbase sprinter😂

Please excuse my ignorance, I don't watch entire videos due to time, but why did this seller not just sell it privately for more money? Forget £6k, he could have gotten at least an extra £1k for doing nothing. I don't get it.

Maybe up,in the north east he could only get £12k offers. He already knew that £13k was an offer subject to sight and tbf, the buyer did up it, not a lot, but he moved. Selling privately gets the seller into a potential world of pain and delays, tyre kickers, dreamers and folk who want to pix a wheelbarrow.

I miss my 330d …… car worth much more than that ….. he should have just sold privately could have easily got 14500 at least possibly closer to 15 with that spec and history, suppose he wanted to be on the channel as well
A 330d (with xdrive) has all the performance you ever need. A proper sleeper performance car with great MPG. The 530d is bigger and more luxurious. Definitely not the same car.
Best off with the e92 as those engines are junk

Sold far too cheap.... And the seller might like to consider a BMW X5 G05 a 3.0d M Sport.. much better for the space he needs..
As for being stuck on a pan roof, I am too and now stuck on HUD. Combo makes life hard trying to find “the one”.
I've got a 330d xdrive touring, which I've owned for 7 years. They have a great combination of power, space, and economy 50+ mpg on a run.
I have the saloon rwd which I've had for 5 years. I have never ever had a car for that long and will keep it as it is very reliable. I love that although is euro 6 engine it does not have the addblue crap

Agreed Ben. Looking at them now (2 months later) and £13k is getting 90k on a 320d MS without pan roof or those options. In fact one 320d at bmw on a 16 is £16795. 330d with that milage on a 17 are as you say 16-17k here in September 2024.
Wow 3 series are really crap specs. If this is a high spec, it’s barely what I’d consider standard requirement.

Got an f30 330d myself, great cars. Reliable and quick. Do miss the sound of a petrol but as an all rounder these are excellent.
I actually prefer the sound of a tuned diesel with a nice exhaust, sound like jet engines!

18-19k car all day that especially with the spec, they sell for 21-22k on auto trader all day, also the alloys wheels centre caps it’s called white worm due to corrosion

Calv when i was looking for a mk6 golf R i took my pregnant misses on a 8hr round trip to walk away as the company lied on condition. Ended up buying one an hour away. Now she wont let me sell it due to the hassle i had finding one.
Pan roofs are heavy, and that weight's in the worst place possible. Plus they're a pain to fix when thet break/leak
Not a track car though is it! They aren’t particularly hard to fix either. It’s not a 996 targa!
@@rossbethell4187 They're very difficult and expensive to fix, no it's not a track car. I still wouldn't want 70Kg of glass etc in the roof! I like a sunroof, that's as far as you need to go IMO.

No as the condition of the vehicle would be different on CAP there's 3 different types of valuations clean, average and below average, say this car had a scrape down the rear quarter this would immediately be below average and book at say £10,500 to £11,000

Had a 330d. Felt quicker tho my 335d X drive and certainly quicker than my 235i gran coupe

The offshore wind industry is similar to what the offshore oil industry was 5-10 years ago. Loads of guys doing the courses to get into the industry. Best thing is to apply for jobs and see what happens, no point spending £££ on courses if you get little joy from job applications.
