Huh? The Cyrusher Ranger is not a mid drive bike that is "Crank driven." You showed a pic of a mid drive motor that the Ranger doesn't have. It has a hub motor just like the rest of your ebikes have. Good video though, I love seeing hill climbing tests with different ebikes and how they do.
The problem I have with e-bike manufactures and those that review them is that they focus only on flat land speed and range. I want a bike that'll level out hilly terrain. Places where one is either going up or down hill with no flat areas. Those up hills will see most non motorized bikes being pushed.
Are you going to rename your channel to MaxWrist-Goes-Electric? Next test: The only E-Bike that can do a wheelie up my hill. Hint: Get an electric motor from a Tesla. Possible problem: An adequate low-weight battery with a decent capacity. Next generation E-Bikes: Batteries built around a miniature nuclear power plant.
What rear sprocket gear were you in on the 2 bikes on the final climb? Seems u were in too hard a gear to help the motor make it up for a proper comparison thou. Lol
great to see you riding something more your speed now, when you total your 6th or 7th one on a public road at least you won't be binning $20-30k each time and wiping out motorcyclists
100% the Cyrusher Ranger is a rear hub drive and not a crank drive. What your thinking is the crank drive is the mechanism for sorting out pedal assist control!! Simple.

A 20% grade should be the standard test for e-bikes but we are gonna get screwed using the EU standard with puny motors
A lot of this test would depend on the gearing of the bike as well.
